As soon as mishra went to his work. I stoop up from couch and went towards shivaay's cabin. My heart was beating like drums. Omg, I don't want to go inside of this lion's den. But i have to facehim. Common anika you can do it.
I somehow made up myself ready to face him. I knocked the door of his cabin. There came his manly voice.
Shiv- come in.
I can sense smirk on his face. Ok ani common you can do it. I went inside and he asked me to sit while still working on his laptop without any glance. I silently sat immediately whispering thank you. After two minutes he saw me with the smirk. Oh damn I think I am gone today. But at the same time I won't give up that easily. If he is shivaay singh oberoi then I am anika wo bhi khidkithod wali. I have to do to it. Not for me but for him. I gave a formal smile to him.
Shiv- so? He asked while smirk playing on his lips.
Ani- so?
Shiv- are you ready miss.anika?
Ani- sir?
Shiv- are you ready for the interview?
Ani- yes sir.
Shiv- you can call me shivaay.
Ani- it's ok sir. I prefer... I was cutted by him in middle.
Shiv- call me shivaay. He said sternly.
Oh god. How I am going to handle him. Please god save me from this bhagadbilla. Without seeing his eyes I nodded my head in agreements with little fear.
Shiv- show me your certificates.
I gave him my file. I can feel that he is continuously staring me. If one can have the ability to eat someone with their eyes. Till now he would have eat me rawly with his kanji eyes.
Shiv- ok. Your certificates are very impressive. You can start your work from now onwards.
Ani- what? But what about my interview?
Shiv- no need miss.anika.
Ani- but why? I want to.. He cutted her in middle.
Shiv- so you want to give interview?.... Hmmm ok then.
He asked her few formal questions which is baseless but she answered it very confidently.
Shiv- ok miss.anika you are selected. Now are you happy with your interview.
Ani- thank you.
Shiv- ok you can start your work from now onwards. Are you ok with it.
Ani- yes... Fine sir..
Shiv- shivaay
Ani- huh?? Ha.. Shi..shivaay..
Shiv- ok take this files and complete it. If any doubt you can ask me.
Ani- ok... Where is my cabin?
Shiv- there.. He pointed a table in his cabin which was set for her.
Ani- here?
Shiv- yes.. Any problem? *Smirks*
Urghh again smirk. If I could, I will rub if off this smirk from his face.
Ani- no sir... I mean shivaay..
I settled on my desk and engaged in my work. She was too engrossed in her work that she didn't realize that pair of blue green eyes continuously staring her. Yes it's our SSO.
He stood up from his chair and came to her desk. She can sense him near her and saw him near her desk. They shared a cute eyelock. She broke it before she could do something wrong.
Ani- shivaay.. You want something?
Shiv(in trance)- yes you...
Ani- huh.. What?
Shiv(clearing throat)- I mean it's lunch time. Come we will go for lunch.
Ani- where?
Shiv- of course restaurant.
Oh my god. I cannot roam around with him. I should say no to him.
Ani- sorry sir I mean shivaay I.. I can't come out.. I said without making eye contact.
Shiv- why?
Ani- tha..that some personal stuff. Stammered.
He saw her suspiciously.. But Shurrged it off.
Shiv- ok then. I order something we will eat here.
I nodded. After 10 mins food arranged in table for us to eat. I silently ate it while he staring me continuously which was very awkward for me. Enough of this now.
Ani- could you pls stop staring at me. I said little irritated.
Shiv- I won't. Atleast Until you give answer to me.
Ani- for what? I know what he is asking about but I doesn't want to answer him. Not now not forever.
Shiv- as if you don't know.
Ani- I don't know what you are talking about.
Anika POV ends.
She stood up to go but before that he caught hold of her hand and pulled which results she landed oh his lap directly. He holder her tightly by her waist. She wriggle to come out his hold which only leads to get his hold grip even more tighten. He removed the strands from her face and tucked it behind her ear. She breathed heavily because of proximity. He cupped her face with his one hand.
Ani- shiv...shivaay le..lea..ve me..
Shiv- how long you are going to ignore me like this ani?
She immediately saw his eyes which shows pain, hurt, care and most importantly lots of love for her. Tears brimmed on his eyes.
Ani- shiv
Shiv- why are doing this to me ani?
No she can't see him like this at the same time she can't be selfish. With the heavy heart, she tried to pull herself out of his hold. At the same time, his phone rings and she took it as an opportunity and came out of his hold and went out his cabin before he could hold her again.
Shiv- anniiiiii. He called her loudly but she went.
He saw his phone which is ringing and once again it became another victim of SSO's anger.
