Laughing, I sit next to my best friend, Amalia. She giggles, opening her water bottle and taking a drink out of it. "I'm really nervous, Li," I speak, watching the car stop in front of a large building. "It's okay, Lyla. You're gonna blow them away," she reassures me, both of us exiting the vehicle and paying the driver. The two of us walk into the large building, finding a large line of people crowding the place. There's so many people here to audition for the new show Teen Wolf. Going to the back of the line, I stand to wait along side Amalia. I'm going on to audition for the part of Lydia Martin. I don't know much about the character, but I've been so nervous about trying out.

Over the next hour, the line gets smaller. There's about a quarter of a hundred people behind us, with only one person left in front. As that person walks in, my breathing hitches. "You're next, Lyla," Amalia smiles, rubbing my back. "You can do this, just focus on what's being given to you. And don't forget to breathe," she encourages. The woman, who had just went into the audition room, storms out with a defeated look on her face. This increases my anxiety, and Amalia can see it. "Hey, you can do this," she whispers a good luck as the man calls for the next person.

As I step into the room, I am greeted by a few people and an audition camera. "Hello," I speak nervously, smiling. "Who is it you're auditioning for?" The main man asks, looking at the portfolio I hand him. "Lydia Martin, sir," I speak politely, talking loud enough for him to hear. "You can call me Jeff. Here's some lines," he shrugs, hanging me a sheet. "That jacket is absolutely killer, where did you get it?" I compliment, trying to bring out what I think her personality is. "My mom was a buyer for a boutique back in San Francisco," A woman to the write spoke back, reading off of another print of the paper. "And you are my new best friend," I smirk, laughing a little. Jeff stops me, sighing. Defeat paints my face, because I know that this means I'm not cut out for the roll. I stand, looking at the door.

"Here's a different script," he surprises me, handing the paper. I look at him with confusion, but i nod and sit down. I look down at the title, Cassie. "I think this is the character you need to be auditioning for," Jeff explains, motioning for me to read off the lines. "Scott, this is crazy. There's no such thing as a werewolf," I sigh, running my hand through my hair. I put on a mask of emotion, concern and confusion taking up most of it. "No, Cas. You don't understand. Look–" I cut the speaker off, looking straight at her with authority. "Scott. Stop. This isn't you. I'm sure this is just Stiles speaking," I try to reason with the Scott character, letting my face fall into a softer look. "At first, yes, it might've been Stiles. But I've seen it, I've turned into one. Remember the party, I had to leave because I was transitioning," The speak begins to try and convince my character. "Scott, stop. I'm serious, you sound crazy. I have to talk to mom about this, we need to get you help," My character begins to panic. I read that she tries to leave the room, but Scott grabs her arm. "Cas, no," the speaker pleads. I read my character trying to get him to let her go. "Scott, that hurts," I bring pain into my voice, sounding scared.

"That's good," Jeff stops the audition. "I like you, Lyla. I don't even think I'm to bother and say that we'll give you a call. I truly think that this character belongs to you," he speaks wholesomely. The man beside him hands me a card with an address, along with a thick sheets of script for the first few episodes. "We'll see you in two weeks," he smiles. I grin, my cheeks hurting. "Thank you so much!" I thank, tears threatening to surface. I walk out of the door and look to Amalia. She smiles at me and walks into the room. I stand next to the door, waiting for her to come out. I can't wait to bring Cassie McCall to life.
