I wake up to a loud crashing noise coming from the kitchen. Throwing the thick, white comforter off of my body, I step onto the cold wooden floor grabbing my phone from the table next to by bed. I slowly walk out of my room and through the narrow hallway that leads to the kitchen.

I peek around the corner of the wall and let out a relieved breath when I see Blair picking up pieces of glass off of the floor. I walk over to the long, black broom leaning against the wall next to the fridge, and begin sweeping up the glass. Blair looks up quickly , and gives me a smile before going back to picking up the glass.

"Blair, what happened?" I question dumping the shards of glass into the trash can.

"I just wanted some water." she says innocently.

I just laugh and grab a box of cereal from the cabinet above the microwave pouring myself a small bowl. Blair does the same and takes a seat in one of the wooden chairs by the table in the kitchen. We eat in a comfortable silence, the air conditioner buzzing in the background.

"I'm going to get some things from the store. The cabinets are practically empty." I say after finishing my cereal and throwing away the plastic bowl I used.

Blair nods at me as walk back into my room to change.

I throw on a pair of burgundy shorts my black New York crop top pairing it with a blue cardigan. I slip on a pair of white converse and leave the apartment.

I tie my hair up into a pony tail as I walk down the hallway to the run down elevator. When I get to the parking lot, I unlock my Chevy Luv pick up and climb into the front seat. The car blends in with the rest of the cars parked in lot which is the only good thing about this place.
