AN: I know I said just one part was left, but it became too large, so there is another chapter left and I will put it up in the next three days.

I hope you enjoy the ending. 😊

"Are you sure you have to leave today?" asked Bucky, sounding very much like a lost, fluffy grizzly bear.

"It is a very important consignment," said Bella, adding another hairpin to her hair. "T'Challa can only trust me with that. Don't worry, I will be back by night."

"Okay."

Bella kissed him softly before walking out the door, seemingly unable to see the disappointed and disgruntled expression on Bucky's face.

It was his birthday.

Not only had she forgotten the date, but she had also refused to have sex with him the previous night, which included the first three hours of his birthday.

Bucky had missed a lot of birthdays because of the things he went through, and Bella had made up for it partly while they were in Bucharest. She had picked up nice movies which Bucky had ended up loving, cooking him his favourite foods and making him a very gooey and sticky chocolate cake. She did that even before he had confessed his love for her. And after he had confessed his love for her, his birthday celebration had become slightly better because now they not only watched movies, but they watched it naked, cuddled under blankets. And very soon, the movie was well forgotten as his lips smothered hers to stifle the moans and whimpers when he kept thrusting gently but deeply into her

But this year, surprisingly, she had forgotten.

He didn't want to pressure her about it, but he wanted her near himself for this day at least.

"Hey," said Sam, sticking his head through Bucky's door, "you okay there, old man?"

"I am fine," grumbled Bucky, although he felt internally blessed to have someone like Sam annoying him like this.

"Come on, man, Cap's been asking for you."

Bucky's heart did a little somersault when he realised that Steve would surely remember his birthday. He walked with Sam to the palace, all the time talking about how to improve their training schedules.

"Since the gym is undergoing some renovations," said Steve, "let us all do something enjoyable."

"Can we play something?" suggested Shola.

"Yes!" jumped Sam. "What do you suggest, my beauty?"

"I think we will do really well with Truth and Dare," said Natasha.

"Okay," said Bucky, "and that is my cue to leave. I have to tend to the sheep now, since I have got some free time.

"Oh no," said Steve, "you are staying. M'Baku said he would take care of the sheep."

"White Wolf," said T'Challa, "are you going back because Bella is not here?"

"No," said Bucky, "I just-"

"Nothing," said Shola, "he is fine. Let's play."

Everyone gathered in the living room, and instead of a bottle, everybody picked pieces of paper from a bowl. And the ones who had picked up papers that had question and answer written on them had to do the needful. Bucky didn't pay much attention to the game because he was missing Bella. And he also kept glaring at Steve all the time because, contrary to what he had thought, the punk had clearly forgotten the jerk's birthday. Before Bucky had almost started screaming at everyone, he picked up a paper that said answer.
