The Unexpected (Will Be Deleted Soon)

Chapter 4

The bell rang. Classes are over. It's only a half day class, but whole day tomorrow onwards, except for activities and programs of the school.

We didn't have that much lessons because all that Ms. Cass did was share about her vacation. I actually felt asleep while she was chattering.

I was putting my things inside my bag when someone suddenly hugged me from behind.

"Ouch!" I accidentally yelled because of pain.

"Oh, I'm sorry, I didn't know your back still hurts." Liz hurriedly removed her arms around me with a shocked face.

"No, sorry for surprising you," I said as I tried to massage my back, but it still hurts.

"Starting from now on, I'll drive you home everyday."

"Well, you don't need to, but thank you," I said as I wore my backpack and tried to smile.

"You're always welcome," she said and tried to smiled back.

"Let's go, I'm fine," I said.

We went out of the classroom, when suddenly blocked our way.

"Hey," Drake said, smiling.

"Get out of our way," I said, not looking into his eyes and leaving him behind.

"Hey, I just wanted to say sorry for earlier, I didn't mean to--" He was cut off as he grabbed my left wrist.

"Don't talk to me, we're not close," I hurriedly said as I removed my wrist from his grip.

"Awkwaaard," Liz said, whistling, leaving us behind.

I rolled my eyes and followed Liz, but drake grabbed my wrist again which caused me to land into his chest.

"Would you stop grabbing my wrist?! I'm going to kill you if you do it again! Let go of my wrist!" I pushed him and tried to remove my wrist from his grip, but I can't. We got the people's attention around us.

"She said let go," a familiar voice said which caused us to look where the voice came from.

"Let go, Drake." He looked at Drake boredly and looked at me. He walked towards us and removed Drake's grip from my wrist.

"Ashto--" Drake was cut off by Ashton.

"Leave now," Ashton said as he boredly looked at me.

I ran away from them and ran towards Liz' car. I saw Liz, leaning back on her car and smiling.

"What happened?" She giggled.

"None of your business. Let's go home already." I opened the door of the car and sat in the shotgun seat.

"Okie dokie," she said as she entered the driving seat.
