Julia's pov
"Please take a seat" Queen Miranda pointed to the chair opposite hers. I took the offer and sat down."Now I know you must be confused but don't worry all your doubt will be cleared" she smiled warmly.
"Long ago the four nations of Ifedia lived together in harmony.....Trifus,Aurion,Riftus and Krystel." She explained.
"But everything changed when the Trifus nation attacked Aurion for the sole purpose of power"
"There was a war between Aurion and Trifus and in the end Trifus won and the people of Aurion all perished." Suddenly her expression changed to one of sorrow.
"Riftus nor Krystel got involved in the war and that's somehow angered the King of Trifus...he had his army attack both nations but because Riftus and Krystel were the most powerful nations we worked together to defeat The King of Trifus."
"In the end we finally succeeded and The King of Trifus was no more." She said
"Well then shouldn't you be happy??" I asked curiously
"No.....although the King was defeated a much more ruthless and greedy man took over the throne" she spoke
"King Daniel" she said and I could see that she was getting angry.
Wait what! !!Daniel???? THATS-
"Michaels dad" I gasped out
"Yes" The Queen said sadly.
"He never did anything bad yet to Riftus or Krystel but I knew sooner or later something would come up"
"Daniel lied low until....." She stopped.
"Until what?" I asked.
She sighed "Until the two most powerful beings in Ifedia were born. One of Krystel blood and one of Riftus blood" she looked at me.
"You're one of them" she said
"W-what?" I was confused
"You see each kingdom has an ancient heart made of stone stored somewhere in the palace and that heart has extremely powerful energy soaring through it."
"It's is said that when a worthy child of royal blood is born the heart will shine brighter than ever and a ceremony should be held when the child turns 12."
"That ceremony is held to give the powers of the rock to the child and right after that ceremony the person would be the most powerful in their kingdom" she said.
"You were so beautiful and always so independent....my daughter Skyler" her expression softened.
"Jack was the other powerful being but unlike you he never got a choice" she said.
"He never got to choose if he wanted the powers or not because his father King Lucious forced the powers on him in a way we still don't understand till this day" she said.
"Daniel wanted that power for himself because the heart of Trifus had been destroyed years before his rule so he plotted to kidnap both you and Jack to make you work for Trifus against your will" she said through gritted teeth.
"He failed a couple of times because the power of Riftus and Krystel together was too much for him." She said.
"But one day Jacks father became proud and thought taht he could defeat Trifus all on his own without the help of Krystel." She said.
"I begged him not to break the bond we had because I knew that without Riftus Trifus would one day rule the whole of Ifedia and more importantly would take my one and only daughter away from me" she spoke
"He didn't listen...he carried on and he ruled his nation alone"
"Daniel was smart...he focused on getting to Krystel first so he could take you then he would end with Riftus and take Jack" she said
"Eventually he succeeded in entering our gates and the war started between Krystel soldiers and Trifus soldiers. Slowly but surely the Trifus soldiers were making their way to the palace where I had you hidden" she said.
"I had no choice left so I erased all the memories you ever had of Krystel and sent you to a dimension you know as Earth i sent my two best friends to pose as you're parents throughout you're life if something ever happened to me" she said sadly
"When Daniel found out that you were gone and that Jack had run away from home he gave up" she said.
"He spent years looking for you and Jack and he finally succeeded" she looked down at her feet.
"I failed to stop him....I failed to protect you Skyler I'm so sorry" I noticed taht she was crying
I smiled and walked to her and gave her a hug.
We cried in each others arms for a while before pulling away.
"I always knew that I didn't belong there....but I thought I was suffering from depression " I said and laughed a bit.
"I missed you so much you have no idea...I'm so sorry I didn't want it to end up like that but your safety was more important" she explained.
"I completely understand i would have done the same" I reassured her.
"I'm just glad I found the place I belong to" I said and she smiled at that.
"So you're dating that idot" she scoffed.
I laughed a bit.
"He's really awesome unlike his dad of course" I rolled my eyes at the mention of his dad.
I've recently developed a rage towards anyone that hurts Jack and he is one of them.
Queen Miranda just nodded.
"Uhm c-can I ask you something p-please" I said.
She nodded.
"Who is my dad??" I croaked out.
Her eyes shifted to the ground.
"Gary....that was your dad's name" she smiled painfully.
"W-was?" I asked.
"Daniel had him killed because he refused to tell him where I hid you....your dad saved you Skyler and he also gave you that name. .....Skyler" she said.
I smiled at that although I was crying though.
"Thanks ........mom" I said the smile still on my face.
She looked surprised but she smiled anyway.
"Thanks for explaining all that to me" I said.
"You deserved to know" she smiled
