Here it is here it was the last day of hogwarts. I look around at these people i've known my whole life and god it feels amazing to finally leave them.

"Firstly I'd like to announce who has won the house shield, last place Hufflepuff with 362, third place Gryffindor with 375, second place to Ravenclaw 380 and that leaves first place to Slytherin with 382. Now congratulations. Along with this our Seventh Year's. I hope you had the best and this will be your last meal ever." 

I smiled as my graduating year and I looked at each other. Sure many of us were definitely not on the best of terms but despite it all we were finally leaving. 

"We ask of you all to remain after this meal to get a class photo. Class of 1978. Please no silly faces."

"No promises Minnie." Sirius shouted from the Gryffindor table. Which just resulted in many sighs and laughter throughout the hall.

We began to eat and I turned to Melanie, "What are your plans for tomorrow after we get home?"

"I think I might either die or just sleep for a long long time." Mel replied, "I mean like either way i'm not waking up early."

After eating, we remained sat as the first to sixth years walked out of the hall going to grab their last items before boarding the train. Soon only the 7th years remained and we stood up walking to the front as the remainder of the hall was getting cleared.

I nodded my head to Minnie and she singled for me to go to the front and I saw James make his way up too. "So this will be our last Head boy and Head girl address and firstly congratulations each of you, each of us. 7 years together and I can just remember how most of you looked when we first stepped in here together in 1971."

"We've created memories, enemies, lifelong friends, lifelong love and most importantly we've completely all of the hard work to reach where we are. Despite where each of us go wherever we work i wish nothing but the best on behalf of Y/N and I. Now do your best in the world..."

"... with all the greatness you hold." I finished. They gave us an applause and we grabbed each other's hand holding it up high.

Getting ready for the picture James and I were instructed to stand dead center. With Ravenclaw and Slytherin prefects on my side and Gryffindor and Hufflepuff on James's.

Each of us were mixed so there was a nice flow of each colour of each house despite the arguing. "on the count of three scream class of 1978! one... two... three."

"class of 1978!"

I held James's hand as we boarded the train going into the same carriage we have been all these years. Sirius, Remus, Mel snd Ryan sat on the other side.

The train ride back was awfully silent as we awaited our new reality, our new life in the real world.

When the train finally stopped each of us jumped up quickly to head out. Our parents all standing together and we rushed towards them. I dan over wrapping my arms around my father, "Oh hello you two."

"Hello father." Remus said where he then gave him a hug.

"Well let's get going, say your goodbyes and I will grab your trunks." Remus and I nodded turning away to our friends.

I firstly game Melanie and Ryan a hug. Before i then turned to Sirius and hugged him tightly, "Still looking hot as always Lara-James."

"Get your head out of the gutter Sirius."

He huffed playfully and mumbled, "Never."

I then lastly turned to James, "Goodbye love. I'll see you soon. I said to him as i pulled him close to me.

"You better we have some wedding to plan." He replied cheekily. I poked him lightly in the cheek giving him a last kiss.

Remus and I bid goodbye and began to walk away, "Just you and I Rem."

"For now at least, but it will always just be you and I Lara-James."
