Lillian's POV
Waffles! Waffles! Waffles! Waffles!
All the waffles in the world shall be mine!
"Lillian!"
"I am the waffle queen!" I shouted instinctively never stopping. My feet were moving on their own and wouldn't stop until they met the place with waffles. Finally, I got to the kitchen in record time to see the three of them there. Damon had a pile of waffles in front of him and man does that look like heaven!
"Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Waffles! Waffles! Waffles!" I reached for the plate, but my hands never made contact. Instead, I was turned around to meet the built chest of Stefan.
"No running down the stairs." He said straight. All I could do is make a whimpering noise. I just want my waffles... His eyes widened a little and he came closer to me, whispering in my ear so only I could hear.
"Careful with what noises you start making, maybe I'll break my deal and keep you for us to enjoy."
"I don't think Klaus would like you breaking our deal," I smirked, knowing I was playing into his ripper side. It's kind of hot, come on. He growled immediately.
"What was that, love? Is the ripper trying to break the deal?" His eyes screamed murder at Stefan but held a calm, interest on his face. Most likely to not scare me. Oh, how thoughtful Klaus!
"Maybe," I said in a singsongy voice. Giggles made their way out of me as I turned back around to Damon and the Waffles.
"May I?"
"Of course. All of them are for you if you want it." Feeling my lips pick up, I knew a big smile came to my face.
"Thank you!" I said while giving him a quick kiss on his cheek. Grabbing the plate of waffles and the fork and knife set out with it, I sat down in one of the open seats at the breakfast bar.
"Ripper, what are you planning?"
"Nothing Klaus. Calm down. She can still go with Caroline today, but I still want her back tonight." His tone was bored, already done with Klaus this morning. He went to the other side of the bar, leaning on it and causing his biceps to bulge. I stopped mid-bite.
"Don't distract me from my waffles."
"Oh I'm distracting you, am I? How so."
"Damon, tell him to stop!"
"I'm not seeing anything to stop, dear Lillian." He smirked at me. That butt!
"Your tone implies otherwise." I glared at both of them. Instead of falling into their game, I grabbed my plate and went to sit at the table. Facing away from them, nonetheless. Laughter could be heard from the males around the room, but I didn't care. Waffles are my life. After I was done, I washed my plate while the others talked. Once done, I thanked Damon again for the awesome waffles. They truly were amazing.
"Alright, ready Lil?" Caroline asked.
"Yea, all good Care." I smiled at her, ready to go see Mom.
"Good. Let's go." I turned to the brothers and gave them both a hug.
"Bye, see you soon!" I told both of them.
"9 Caroline." Stefan reminded her as the three of us walked out.
"Yes, Father I know." Caroline joked. Outside was a shiny black Porsche. I looked at Klaus. It had to be his. Seeing him take out his keys just proved my point. Oh fancy guy, okay Caroline. I see you. The ride was short going back home. Familiar sights and old homes lined the street that I grew up on. Memories flashed through my mind thinking of the years I spent here. Once we pulled into the driveway, I could tell they wanted to talk by themselves. With a quick thank you and bye to Klaus, I got out and waited for Caroline by the front door. Less than five minutes later, Caroline came walking up to me with a look on her face that just says 'if I could blush as a vampire, my entire face would be as red as a tomato'.
"Does someone have a date with a hot hybrid?" I teased her.
"Hey, you can't say anything! I had to make a deal to get you here and you aren't even staying!"
"To be fair, was that a deal that you dreaded or one you needed an excuse to make?" I grinned at her.
"Shut up and let's go." She said opening the door and walking in. Hm, I guess I'm right then.
"Mom!" Caroline yelled. Mom came barreling out when she heard Caroline's call. Caroline gave us a minute and walked into the kitchen.
"Lillian!" She came directly at me, enveloping me in a hug. I wrapped my arms around the taller women, happy to see her.
"Hi mom, I missed you." My voice was mumbled due to me speaking into her shirt.
"I missed you too my sweet little girl. I've only had one ball of sunshine here since you left. It's not the same." I giggled and then pulled away to smile at her.
"Well, I'm back now!"
"Yes, yes I see that." Her laugh filled the air. "But as your mother, I have to ask where you were last night."
"No, you don't. That's the sheriff talking and I've done nothing wrong for you to interrogate me."
"Mother duties involve knowing where you are sweetie." She grinned at me.
"I wasn't-"
"Salvatore Boarding House," Caroline yelled from the kitchen. That little traitor!
"Caroline!"
"And pray tell why are you there? When did you even meet them? You just got back last night. Don't even say sleepover, because Caroline was home last night."
"How do you know I wasn't having a sleepover with someone else there?"
"Cause that's so fake."
"Yeah, I know." I laughed.
"You're not getting out of the question."
"You don't need an answer." I kept the banter going. I really don't care if she knows, but this is just fun.
"Lillian, tell me what you were doing there." She said calmly.
"She was with Stefan and Damon. They claimed her." Caroline said walking back into the room.
"They did what?!" She yelled looking between me and Caroline. I just smiled innocently at her. Let the storms rage.
