Third person's POV

A day before the Valor...

Janus got knocked down on his back as he got caught by a blow on Sylvana's shield. Janus gritted his teeth I can't even scratch her! As expected from a leader. Sylvana put the shield on her back and sheathe her sword That's enough now, you're much better than you were in the past days.

Janus sighed in exhaustion Yes Miss. He then beamed Thank you for training me. Sylvana smiled Then go and give your best to defend your title tomorrow!

Yes Miss!

Kiyan's POV

I trained one last time by myself on a clearing, I sighed as I'm done I think this is enough. I put my sword down and squatted, closing my eyes and started to meditate - I have to clear my mind from everything so that I could focus on tomorrow's match.

Silence...

Silence...

Silence...

I could barely hear anything except the rustling of the grass and leaves of the trees. I open my eyes and stood up Just you wait, Jan', I'm going to give my best.

The next day...

Third person's POV

Excitement filled the air as the arena is slowly filling with people to witness the duel between Kiyan and Janus. Dianne looked back and called out Come on, girls! We better hurry and take the best seats! Elsa commented She sure is in a rush. Wilhelmina nodded She sure is, especially today that Janus and Kiyan are finally facing off. Anastasia added And it's our first time to see them duel each other.

Athena, Scarlett, and Azalea stood on where they were before, silently watching the arena fill up with people. Scarlett said They sure are looking forward to this day.

Athena replied They sure are, considering the last duel is insane, this day's battle is probably more than that. Azalea, who is silently watching with arms folded, is thinking about the time Kiyan dragged Stein's face on the wall It feels like it's the same time he rampaged back on Ju-an Clan against me and Scarlett.
