4. Bestie crush

William took Cassandra to the old art room. It was empty and William locked the door behind him.
"Why did you bring me here??" She asked, her voice, nervous. William moved up and down in the room. He looked angry.
"Am sorry Cassy. You should know how Chris is. He's a pest." Cassy smiled. "So that's why you dragged me out like that?" She changed her mood again. "You must compensate me for dragging my hand like that." she turned her back against him. William hesitated for a second, then he gave her a kiss on her neck. Cassandra quickly turned to look at him. This was the first time he had kissed her on her neck. And his kiss felt different from all the ones he had ever given her on her cheek. Cassandra held her neck and blushed. "what was that for??" she asked. William couldn't look at her. He was shy. "Nothing. Just my am sorry charm. Did it work?" He asked, avoiding her eyes. Cassy smiled and poked him as usual. William began to laugh as she continued to poke him.

William dropped Cassy by her house. She waved him bye and went into the house. Her Mom was preparing food. "wow... Mom, your food smells so nice." She complimented as she entered the kitchen. She took a glass cup and fetched milk to drink.
"How was school baby?" Her Mom asked her. Cassy smile, remembering the kiss. "Hmm..'twas okay mom." she replied. "What about your sister??" Mrs Cullen asked her. Cassandra frowned. "What's my business with her Mom? She's mature enough to care for her self!!!" "Cassandra, manners!!!!" her Mom shouted, stopping what she was doing. "You are the elder one. You need to at least, know her where abouts!!! Now, call her, would you??". Cassandra sighed as she picked up her phone. She dailed the number. No answer. "Mom, I knew she wouldn't pick. She has a high ego and is disrespectful!!!" Cassandra fumed. Mrs Cullen sighed. She picked up her phone and called Kendra. Kendra picked up. "Hey baby. Why didn't you pick up the phone?" She asked concerned. Kendra made a fuss. "I don't pick Cassandra's calls Mom. You should know. Am at Queen's house. I'd be home soon." She said and cut the call before her Mom could say anything. Cassandra hissed and walked to her room.

Cassy layed on the bed, exhausted. She had had her bath, and wanted to have her nap. She remembered the peck that William gave her earlier that day. She quickly sat up.
That kiss wasn't normal. Why did William kiss me, and on my neck?? Is William falling.....
Cassandra slapped her head. What was she thinking??? She lay down again and tried to fall asleep.

Gosh... What made me give Cassy that peck? Was Chris right? Am I falling for my best friend?
Cassandra was beautiful, truth be told. She had cool eyes, and perfect smile. William couldn't imagine himself liking Cassandra. William picked up his phone and dailed her number.

Cassandra was asleep. Her phone rang. She grudgingly woke up. It was William calling. Her mood brightened up.
"Hey Bestie!!!!" Cassy smiled. "Hey you. Were you asleep??" He asked, hoping he didn't disturb her. "I was well, but it's you. It's no problem. What's up??" she asked. William cleared his throat. "Well, am sorry for today." He apologized. Cassy frowned. "What happened today?" She asked pretending. "The peck" He replied. Cassy's heart missed a beat. "Well, that was Bestie kiss. It's no problem." She said to him, omitting the part where she felt a flicker. William hesitated to speak. "Okay baby. See you Tomorrow. Care for chocolates?" He asked. She smiled. "Yes please mi man." She joked happily. William told her bye and cut the call.
