Chapter One

I sat on the grey velvet couch of the yacht. My eyes wandered at the great interiors inside. There's a big body mirror on the side too. The view of the sky is limited at this place but I can see how the fireworks splattered across the dark skies.

The yacht starting moving.

"First of all, I'm sorry about what happened to your mom and what you're currently facing right now." Groian spoke as he loosen his tie, putting it at the top of the bed.

He then unbuttoned his button down long sleeves and took it off.

Napataas ako ng kilay. Perpekto ang pagkakahugis ng kanyang mga balikat. Mula sa kinauupuan ko, kita kong matigas na kaagad ang dibdib niya. Mayroon siyang abs at maganda ang v-line. Ang kanyang baywang ay may katamtamang laki para sa kanyang katawan.

Nanliit ang mga mata ko habang tinitignan ang katawan niya. Ngumuso ako at nag-iwas ng tingin at pinagdiskitahan ang paghubad sa aking suot na heels.

Well aware that Groian is watching me, I stared back at him. He grinned, crossing his arms in front of his chest causing it to flex.

Lumapit si Groian sa akin at lumuhod. Hinayaan ko siya roon. Maingat niyang hinaplos ang paa ko at marahan itong minasahe.

He looks like my servant. Kneeling in front of me. Ready for my every bidding.

"Why do you want to see me? You could have scheduled an appointment with me." He whispered.

"I figured out that it's better to talk at a party like this... Hindi ka makakatanggi."

"But then you put me here..."

"You want this too." Sagot niya.

I bit my lower lip. Nasasarapan sa haplos at pagmasahe niya sa aking paa. Pumikit ako at tumingala habang nagpapatuloy siya sa ginagawa. Tahimik kaming dalawa at ang tanging ingay lang ng fireworks sa labas at ang musika ng banda ang maririnig.

"You like this?" He asked in a playful tone.

"Yes..." I let out a sigh.

My phone rang. I immediately opened my clutch, and frowned upon seeing the caller ID.

It was none other than my cheating boyfriend, Polo.

I smiled bitterly, remembering how I found out that he's cheating on me. It was during my birthday party last year, December 26. It was supposed to be so fun but I saw him kiss Vanessa Uy right before my very eyes.

No one knew about that because I kept quiet about it.  I don't want to tell it to other people. I don't want to find out the reason why he's cheating on me or how long has it been going on.

Because I know I'm at fault too... I couldn't give him my virginity so he was upset. He said it was okay but look! He cheated on me!

I thought he can wait. We've been together for 5 years. I have been in a relationship with him since I was sixteen! Who knows, he could be cheating on me for so long!

I love Polo. He's my first boyfriend. It has always been him from the very start... He was my first love.  And he, together with my father... They were the first ones to broke my heart. With no hopes of getting it fixed again.

At ngayon, namamanhid na ako. Nauubusan ng dahilan para magtiwala pa. Nauubusan ng dahilan para magkaroon pa ng pag-asa para sa mga bagay-bagay. Para sa mga tao.

All I know is I am the only one I can trust.

If the people I love cheated on me... If the people I love betrayed me, what more the people who sees me as their enemy can do to me?
