History books call her the Monster Queen, Queen of Death, Eirlys the Cruel. Only very few are neutral and even fewer make the link with the Rebellion of the Yun and her rise to power. All the books and the public see is a monster. The countless executions, prisoners, working camps. They think of the Great Famine, of the Battle of Babellake and the blood of millions on her hands. The few people hailing her are rebels, anarchists, terrorists. They think of her great powers, of the numerous victories and her political plays. They're all right and all wrong. She was cruel and merciless, yes, but so were her captors to her. She was fifteen the first time she killed someone, it was a matter of life and death. There are always two sides to a story and hers never got the chance to be told. It never will be. I like to belief though that as long as I remember her, understood her reasoning to her actions, she could be redeemed. Just a little bit. Many of her actions are inexcusable but had history taken a slightly different course, she could have been saved.

I also like interacting with readers, so if you have comments, questions, etc. please let me know. I will also pose a question at the end of every author note, feel free to answer them :)
