People Are Never Who They Seem

The First Day

Erika's P.O.V

My alarm went off at 5:30 reminding me today was the first day of school. I always loved school. I loved meeting new people on the first day. I got up , grabbed my outfit I had picked the day before and put it on. While I was getting ready I got a text from Matthew. We have been together for almost 2 years now. One thing that suprised me was we've never got in a fight after being together for almost 2 years. I was happy, yet a little scared. When i read the text it said "be outside in 10 minutes". He always drove me to school. For some reason he hated when i took the bus. When i was done gettinqq ready i grabbed my sweater and an apple and went outside. Waiting for a couple minutes Matthew finally came. I got in the car gave him a quick hug and kiss and we drove off.

Matthew: How'd you sleep?

Me: Pretty good actually.

Matthew: Lucky for you.

Me: Whats that supposed to mean?

Matthew: Nothing.

Why was he actinqq like this? He was never rude to me like this before. Well the first day of school is always bad since you have to wake up early after getting to sleep in for 2 months. So thats probably what it was.

We got to school and while i was getting out of the car he just sat there.

Me: Are you coming?

Matthew: I umm ... I got something to do today. I'll pick you up right after school.

Me: ... Ooh well okayy then. I love you.

Matthew: Yea bye.

He never acted this weird ever in our almost 2 years together. Well he's probably just a little tired. I'll talk to him after school.
