and she cries.

It starts subtly. Barely able to pull herself together, shaking, her eyes begins to turn blurry, slowly transitioning to red. Clasping her hands to her mouth, trying to not make too much sound.

She cries, unable to express this unspeakable emotion any other way. It's heavy, sharp to her heart.

Threatening to overflow.

An interlude.

She opens her eyes again.
