Fancy Dinner Gone Wrong.

Lapis' POV

I want to make it up to Peri. I mean her hole flat has been shot at, there are bullet holes everywhere. So I was going to take her out to dinner and the guys are going to tide up and repair the house. I smiled when I saw Peri asleep on the sofa. She never made to the bed last night after getting drunk and working a long shift at the bar. "Hey Peri. Let's not work tonight instead let's go out for a nice meal" I said all of this ontop of her so she couldn't ignore me. She groaned and said "Lapis I need you here with me right now. " I laughed and cuddled up to her. "Peri you didn't answer my question " I laughed then said "come with me to LateNightDinner its a 5 star restraunt and I'm paying for it. " she smiled and rapped her arms around me tightly she whispered in my ear a small "okay my love but we'll have to wait until my hangover has left my body. " I smiled and kissed her softly. "Sure the reservation isn't until 6pm so you'll be fine. " I said getting off of her and picking her up to take her to bed. I placed her on the bed and we cuddled until it was time to get ready. I went into my original room to get ready because Peri just wanted "more cuddles" but I knew what she really wanted lol. Anyway I got dressed into a black long dress that had a cut going down one of my legs from my waist. I walked out to see Peri in a green tinted suit and a green tie rapped around her neck. "Hey Lapis can you help me with this tie" she grunted the looked up at me through the mirror and was just as shook as I wanted her to be. "Like what you see? " I asked jokingly as I walked over to her and cuddled her back. I looked at her in the mirror and she said "Yes. You look. beautiful. " I kissed her cheek and turned her around to tie her tie. "You look beautiful to PerBear. " I said as I stuffed her tie under her suit jacket. We walked towards the door and left the ruined flat. Not for much longer though.

~~~At~The~Restaurant~~~

"Here we are Peri" I said as I opened the front door of the building for her and we walked inside I got us are table and we sat down. The waiter came over and said "hello my name is Anna and I will your server today what can I get you for drinks. " I looked at the menu for a little while and picked my drink. "A cocktail for me please. " I asked and looked at Peri. "Coke please. " she said smiling a little nervous. Once the waiter left I said " I guess your not used to the hole fancy restaurant thing. hu? " Peri chuckled nervously and said "I guess not I mean I really only went for takeout with my step mum and after she got with her rich boyfriend I was never invited anywhere. I couldn't do a hole lot with her after her boyfriend came into the picture and they ran away together leaving me alone in a small flat with nothing." I was crying alittle when I heard her story its not fair that her step mother left her for some rich man. I leaned across the table to touch her cheek and wipe away a tear  running down her face. She kissed my hand and we laughed together after ordering our food we talked about different things like the bar and how Peri really should be at home fixing up the holes in the floor, walls and furniture. I laughed at the idea because the Gems are fixing it up as we speak. Are food came by soon enough I had a steak and Peri had porch. We continued to eat and as Peri was talking about how she wanted to repaint the bar counter I saw someone who looked just like Peri but older I looked around to see her turn her face she definitely looked like Peri. I hope Peri didn't see her. "Hey Lapis are you listening. " Peri said trying to get my attention "hey sorry I just spaced out. " I said looking at her sad face. "Oh did. Did I bore you? " she asked I quickly shock my head and walked over to hug her. "I'm sorry Peri you didn't bore me I was thinking about everything that was going on but I was listening I say birch would be a great colour for the bar counter" I said still hugging her we had already eaten are food so we got up and began to walk out the door when I saw the lady from before looking at us I held Peri's hand and as we walked out of the door I making sure she that she was still looking I kissed Peri on the hand and then a small peck on the lips. "I have a surprise for you when we get home" I said still looking out of the corner of my eye at the lady again who had a look of hatred on her face. "Okay Lapi" she said before kissing me again I smiled and when I opened my eyes again and I saw the lady walking towards us. I quickly started to walk us away when the lady shouted. "Peridot? Peridot is that you? " I was so mad I couldn't believe she was about to ruin are evening. "Hi step mother yes its me. " she said trying to hold back her tears I still held her hand. "Peri who is this? Why is she holding your hand? I thought we talked about this phase? " she said looking really disappointed. "I'm sorry step mother I. This is Lapis she is my girlfriend. She also works at the bar with me and the gems" she said in a quiet voice almost as if she was scared of her step mother. "What did I tell you about having girlfriends its not right I knew those friends were going to be bad influences on you! " she shouted at Peridot I quickly ran towards her step mother saying "you bit... " however  Peridot had grabbed my hand and whispered "don't Lapis let's just go home" her step mother continued to shout "I can't believe you still work at that bar it's the worst decision you ever made. " I quickly release my hand from Peridot's grip and went up to her step mother and said "you listen hear Peridot is one of the smartest and most beautiful women I know you love her and I love her she is the reason I have a home and friends and a job so leave her alone you gave up on her and she gave up on you so you have no right to see her talk to her or think of her ever again. " her step mother looked so angry "I am her step mother I have every right to see and tell her what's wrong with her life. " it was my turn to be mad "you, abandoned her you gave up on her sherly that would mean you don't care about her. " she slapped me across the face and left with the man she came with. "You didn't have to do that Lapis. " I heard Peridot say form behind me I turned around to argue but then I saw her crying on the floor with her hands on her ears. "I'm sorry Peri she just made me so angry. " I ran over to hug tell small girl but then I remember your surpost to ask before you touch a person having a panic attack. "Peri do you want a hug? " she nodded her head and slowly moved her hands down to my sides. "Can you carry me to the car please. " she asked quietly into my ear. I picked her up and stood up with her legs around my waist and her arms around my neck. I placed her in the car and kissed her "I love you Lapis. " "I love you too" I replied kissing her again and then drove back to the bar. I parked up and she held her arms out. "I forgot how to walk" she said laughing "and I'm wearing heals so sorry boo" I said leaving the car I quickly took my heals off and ran towards Peri's door. "Don't worry PerBear I'll carry you. " I said opening the door and picking her up. I opened the door and walked upstairs towards the flat to see the gems all asleep. "Um guys  " I said trying to wake Ame up "surprise Peri we repaired your flat and we may have gotten bored so we drank your licker. " she said and then fell asleep again Peri and I both laughed and we walked into the bedroom not even getting dressed before falling asleep in eachothers arms.

Wowie 1562 words and nobody cares that's cool I'm going to sleep now night. Also I changed mother into step mother because I recently reread the first few chapters and it said that Peri's Mum was dead soooo.
