While she was typing out her very long message... or more like a very long rant of throwing out her things without permission, along with the picture she just took, Lover Boy 88 started playing on her phone and that could only mean one thing.
The Sun was calling.
She huffed and pressed decline.
"Rude. I was still typing something." She hurriedly typed the rest of her message and pressed send.
She leaned on the kitchen counter and counted in her head, just before she made it to ten, her phone rang again.
This time, she angrily swiped to the right and pressed the phone on her ear.
"Wang Hexia! So early in the morning and you're already pissing me off."
"Good morning to you too, Xiao Shen."
"Where are my beers?"
She waited for his reply but the silence on the other side made her think he might've dropped the call so she pulled the phone away from her ear and checked the screen.
What greeted her made her knees buckle because there he was smiling like an idiot on the screen, having his face take up the majority of her phone. He was still in his costume and was shakily holding his phone in front of his face as if he was walking.
"Turn it on! Turn it on! Turn on your camera too!" He kept saying like a kid, while waving his other hand so wildly. He was spinning the camera around, making her see that he was indeed still on the set of his new show.
"Why are you calling me? You're still taping."
"Well, I think I kinda sensed your distress call from there, which by the way I still haven't read that very long message you sent just yet but I'm guessing this was about the beers?"
She huffed and slid the button for her front camera to turn on. She wanted him to see how angry she was.
"Yeah, that. Also, why do you look so skinny? And tan? Have you been eating properly, Wang Hedi?" She raised her eyebrows at him and gave him a pointed look. He looked so tired. To think it's only ten in the morning.
"How cute. You're worried."
"I am. Because you can be an idiot who forgets to eat and take a break."
"Well, I am on break right now and I did eat already. Want me to send you over some of my pre-packed meals again? I think the ones I left there are only enough until Friday. "
"Don't bother about it, Didi. I could cook my own. House arrest, remember? But thank you for even suggesting."
"Then? Would you like to explain to me why you're looking for your beers when you've been on house arrest for the exact same reason?"
"Jie, won't know. You won't tell her because this conversation never happened at all."
"Shen Yue..."
"Wang Hedi..."
A sigh of defeat.
"First of all, stubborn woman, I did not hide your beers. Second of all, it's too early to be drinking. Third of all, you shouldn't be drinking AT ALL."
"I only want to drink one, okay."
"Wait until I get back to Beijing and really have your beers thrown out the window."
"Wang Hedi!"
"What?" he was frowning at her.
I miss you.
