Chapter 9

Elaine's P.O.V

"So Elaine.. are you ready to win?" he asked me as the timer was counting down. 16..15..14

"As ready as I'll ever be" I said while re adjusting my belt. "Do you remember the plan?" I asked fixing my eyes on his shadow. All I saw was a glow in the dark gun, and a blue target in the middle of his stomach. Because this game was devided in two teams, we were the blue team.

"Absolutely" he said. ...9...8...7...6 I took in a deep breath.. As much as it was just a game, I didn't want to look like a fool infront of Josh. I took this seriously.. I was going to win!!

3.2.1. The sound of the loud horn had everyone running into the dark maze. I ran in a different direction then he did. I found a quiet corner, and looked around for anyone coming towards me. I saw a red target right infront of me. I was assuming it was the other team, so I aimed, and shot. "BUZZ" I heard along with some curse words.

"Shit man.. Who the hell shot me?" some teenager questioned in anger.

"Calm down kid! No need for those words" I said. Because I was hidden, the kid couldn't find me.

"Who said that?". This was honestly priceless! I had to cover my mouth in order to help myself from laughing. Just as his target finished reseting, I shot again. "BUZZ"

"Fuck this man" he shouted while running away. Oh my god that was so freaking funny. I couldn't hold it in any longer. I ended up laughing, which scared a couple of people. I decided it was best for me to change hiding spots. People were starting to figure out where I was.

I quickly got up and ran before anyone could find me. I heard a noise behind me, and saw the kid I shot recently. I wasn't paying any attention of where I was going, because I ended up running into someone. He grabbed me by the waist and pulled me into a dark corner.

"Get the hell away from me" I said while struggling to get out of the strangers grasp.

"Shhh.. Elaine! It's just me" I heard Josh whisper.

"Thanks for rescuing m.." I was cut off by him pecking my cheek. The kiss was so cute!!The moment he pulled away, he ran. "You're welcome. Gotta go" he said while shooting another player. Oh my god... Could that have been any sweeter?

After an intense 30 minutes of playing, the lights turned on, and my gun turner off.

"The winning team is Team Blue! Congrats soilders" A voice from a hidden speaker said. Yay we won!! Man that was awesome!!  I was looking for a while untill I saw Josh.

"There you are" he said while pulling me into a hug. "Are you okay?! Any battle wounds?" he asked while looking on my arms, and face. I couldn't help but laugh.

"No.. I... I'm fine" I said while placing my hand on his in an overly dramatic manner. We both laughed.

"So love.. Are you hungry?"

"Eh.. a bit" he walked towards the exit door, and I followed him. He drove for about 15 minutes before we reached our destination.

"I hope you like pizza" he said while parking the car. Oh goodness my favorite!! We bothed walked out, and he help the door open for me. I smiled and thanked him.

Our waitor sat us down at a booth in a corner. It was a bit darker than the rest of the restaurant, so it was perfect for Josh and I to talk privately.

"So Elaine..we totally won!!" he cheered while smiling

"We sure did!!"

"I remember hearing this kid cursing cause someone shot him"

"Yeah.. I shot that kid"

"That was you?" he started laughing "He got so angry"

"Yeah he was such a bad sport" I started laughing as well.

"So Josh... When am I going to hear this band of yours" I asked.

"Well.. The tour starts in three weeks, and rehearsals start in two. So maybe then" he said as our food arrived.

"Okay!! I really can't wait to hear you guys" I said while biting on a piece of cheese pizza.

"I had so much fun tonight" I said while looking into his eyes.

"Me too"

It wasn't long before he cupped my face and kissed me. This time the kiss was filled with so much more passion. Our lips started to move in a perfect motion. He eventually put his hands on my waist, and I wrapped my arms around his neck. The kiss lasted for about ten seconds. He pulled away, and smiled at me. I lowered my arms, and he did the same.

"Goodnight Elaine"

"Goodnight Josh" I entered the house and took in a deep sigh of happiness. I didn't see the girls downstairs, so I decided to check one of their rooms. I found Valerie and Isabella sitting on the bed.

"He kissed me again!!" I sqealed

"Girl.. he's gonna ask you to be his girlfriend soon" Valerie stated.

"eh.. maybe! Well, I'm going to sleep! Goodnight losers"

"Goodnight you fiesty sex kitten". The comment from Valerie had me laughing so hard, I started to tear up.

"Goodnight" Isabella said while slapping Valerie on the arm.

After I slipped into my bed sheets, I slowly srarted to drift off into a deep sleep.

Oh my god I'm so sorry for the extremley short chapter... but yeah this was just a pre-OMG  chapter!! Chapter 10 is going to be SOOOO intense... with that said, you guys are in for a REAL treat :) Please if you haven't, tell your friends about it cause its gonna get a WHOLE lot more crazy!!
