i sat in Julianna's room holding a pillow. Quinn was there too. i told them about the kiss. all three.

"i can't stop kissing him!" i shove the pillow at my face and lean down. Quinn giggled.
"he is so comforting and warm and hot and cute. kissing him is the best feeling in the world. he grabs my face and kisses me so deeply it's like every nerve in my body are just fireworks all of a sudden. even if i'm just holding his hand, i feel everything." every thought in my head just seeps out. Julianna and Quinn are jaw dropped.

"what's the issue then?" Quinn says.

"i made it clear to my mother and father that i hated the idea of this marriage. i screamed at them and called them sick people. but look at me now. falling in fucking love with the person they arranged me with. the irony is ridiculous." more words spill. Julianna nods.

"fuck love man. it's annoying." i say.

"but you love love. love loves you cause it gave you a love in your life. you're falling in love Caroline." Julianna says.

"awww cares in loveeeee." we start giggling like children.

"you know, i bet Houston is crying about you right now." Julianna says.

"yeah i bet he's talking to his kitten named Sunshine." i laugh, wiping tears from my eyes.

"he's so perfect. he is one of the kindest people i have ever met. he cares so deeply about everything. he has a sense of humor too. his hair is soft, his eyes are beautiful. he's got the hottest body ever. six pack and a nice ass." i laugh and cry at the same time. "and he has a kitten named Sunshine. what gets better than that?"

"god your so in love." Juli smiles. she sits up and fluffs the pillows. she straightens her bed out and puts her hands on her hips. another one of her classical looks was given. this one read "we've got a mission". intriguing.

"so i heard Houston is taking you dancing tonight." she says.
"you are correct. i heard that it's a play with quite the after party." i tell Quinn and Julianna. Quinn smiles hugely and runs to Julianna's closet. she returns to us holding a navy high-low dress. the front stopped at the knees while the back cut off at the middle of my calves. she handed me a pair of heels and a handful of jewelry.

"i saw the dress in her closet a while back and fell in love with it." Quinn explains.

"thank you Quinnie." i smile at her.

i felt amazing. i did my hair in a side part, slick back, low, straight pony tail. my makeup was gold and smokey.
"ugh how can you be so pretty." Julianna says.

"thank you. don't worry you two are next to get glammed up!" i smile at them. a few knocks were placed on my door. i look through the peephole and see Houston standing outside my door. i open the door. "hi Houston let's go." i nearly shut the door before a loud voice says, "not so fast!" Quinn holds open the door.
"Nice to meet you Houston Sage." Quinn shakes his hand.

"Quinn i've known you since we were babies." that's correct. Sterling and Quinn's father is best friends with Houston's. they all moved from Texas to France together.
"shhh, don't ruin my imagination." Houston slightly laughs.

"you've got a firm handshake and you own every single CatDog episode on DVD-." Houston cuts off Quinn.
"no need to bring that up." he smiles at her. i giggle at their conversation. i'm glad they are such good friends.

i grab Houston's arm and pull him out the door. "have her home before 12pm!" Quinn shouts through the closed door.
"you got it!" Houston yells.

we walk out of the building and soon off campus. now we're just on a sidewalk, seemingly endless through the downtown of the city.
"why on earth are we walking?" i ask Houston.
"there will be drinks at this event. i'm not trying to crash a car afterwards." he states.
"good call." i say. i look at Houston as we walk. he seems a bit too odd at the moment. no emotion in his words.

"why are you so quiet?" i ask him.

"saving my energy for this place." he stops walking and stands in front of a coffee shop. i glance at him with a very confused look on my face. he grabs my hand and we enter the shop. a turns right and leads us down a staircase with a door at the end.

"you better not be kidnapping me right now." i say and point at him, stubbornly. he opens the door and my ears are instantly filled with music and cheers and conversation. there are tables everywhere and a large dance floor. lights hang from the ceiling along with candles lit on each table. there is a bar with people on every seat, engaged in exciting conversations.

Houston's Point of View

i look down at Caroline. her eyes have a little extra sparkle in them than usual. she looks in awe as she gets a whole pan shot at the room.

"Houston this is amazing. how did you know of it?" she says.

"my grandfather created it. his father owned the place and he would always sneak downstairs and start a little party for himself during work hours. it's now run by Mrs. Charlotte Rose: an old friend of my grandfathers." i explain to her. the song is switched to Crazy Little Thing Called Love. i look at Caroline, for she looks eager to dance. i hold onto both of her hands and lead her out onto the dance floor. there are couples and friends dancing everywhere. everyone is so carefree. Caroline is glowing of cheerfulness. the night is just getting started.
