"You think you can fish?" A short, mocking laugh left her lips as she peeled her grimy shirt from her body, standing before him in her shorts and a bra.

"I don't think. I know." He glared at her from the corner of his eye, spearing worms on the end of the sharp hooks as the light sheen of sweat on his own bare chest glistened in the sun.

The corner of her mouth was pulled up in a sly smirk as she shimmied the denim down her soft thighs, stepping out of the fabric of which pooled around her ankles, Never breaking eye contact with the blue eyed boy.

"We'll see about that, pretty boy." She teased, taking a few steps towards the river bank. Glancing over her shoulder she noted how his eyes were fixated on her form.

"May the best fisher win."

A splash interrupted the gentle trickling of water running over smooth rocks, her body disappearing beneath the reflective surface of the water. A smaller splash followed, 10k had thrown his weighted fishing line into the river, confident in his skills.

A light, airy laugh filtered through the forest as she resurfaced, h/l, h/c locks projecting water droplets into air that fell like rain with a gentle pitter patter.

"Hey, 10k! Any luck mister fisherman?" Her mocking tone causing playful frustration to arise in his chest.

"Your ungraceful ass flopping into the water scared off all the fish." He retorted, flashing her a smirk of his own, watching as she tilted her head whilst treading water calmly.

"Is that so?" Holding up a fish, she tossed it to him, his eyes widening as he fumbled to catch the fish, almost dropping the slippery fucker before impaling it on the spear that stuck up from he ground beside him.

"That's not very ladylike is it now, Princess?" He teased, knowing being called princess was one of her biggest pet peeves, he flashed an innocent smile in her direction.

She submerged herself slightly into the water, using it as a shield to hide the blush that dusted her cheeks. Being called princess caused a huge rush of butterflies to erupt in the pit of her stomach, often even lower. Though she hoped he was oblivious to this.

"Ladylike?" She grumbled lowly, sinking further into the cool water. "I'll show you ladylike." With that she disappeared under surface of the stream, the high sun reflecting off the smooth waves almost blinding, making it impossible for him to see her under the crystal clear water.

After several moments of silence, his worried sapphire eyes scanned the expanse of water for even a shadow of her form, contemplating jumping in to search for her. He squatted down, a large hand shielding the sun from his eyes, hoping for a better view.

The force of his body colliding with the cool water stole the air from his lungs and he struggled to bring himself up to the surface, barely registering what had happened.

She laughed again, the melodic sound bringing him back to reality as he tried to catch his breath, spluttering between strained gasps.

"What is wrong with you? You could have killed me." The anger in his voice made her laugh even herder, small dimples forming in her rose tinted cheeks.

"10k, calm down. You can stand up you know?" She places her hands on his strong biceps, helping to stabilise him as he stood, water coming to just below his shoulders whilst she bounced on her tiptoes, head tilted back to stay above the surface.

A crimson blush painted his cheeks, a mixture of lack of oxygen and embarrassment from her seeing him flailing around much like the fish she had caught, not knowing he could reach the riverbed.

Soon, his breathing evened out, blue eyes meeting e/c.

"I was actually worried about you there for a second." His thick eyebrows knitted in thought, the gentle concern in his words causing a pang of guilt to rise in her chest, and she stared quietly into his beautiful blue eyes.

She sunk slightly back into the water, nose and mouth below the surface as she mustered up her best puppy dog eyes. His expression softened and he opened his mouth to tell her that it's okay.

Though before he had the chance to speak, his words were cut short by a jet of water hitting his face, and the e/c eyed girl wiped her mouth before she giggled, eyes closed.

After a short moment of unreciprocated laughter she opened one eye cautiously, glancing up at his serious, angered expression before turning tail to swim away from him as though her life depended on it.

A large, rough hand grabbed her ankle, pulling her back under the water. She tried to kick it off and keep swimming to safety but the weight of his body pushing her down served her attempts fruitless.

At a last attempt of escape she tickled the soles of her captors feet and he reeled back instantly, allowing her to resurface.

He helped her out of the water, planting her feet on smooth pebbles as she coughed slightly on the water she had accidentally inhaled, h/l, h/c locks sticking to her back as the water rippled around her waist.

"Hey! Don't be a dick." She splashed water at him, which proved to be a huge mistake as his large hands caused a tsunami to wash over her small form.

Another competition has begun.

He joined her in her laughter this time as they splash each other with cool water, dunking each other below the surface.

She jumped onto him, wrapping her legs around his waist and her arms around his neck, trying to use her body weight to force him under the water. Though clearly she had underestimated his strength as he wrapped his arms around her, threatening to drop her.

"Tommy. don't you dare."She growled lowly, wrapping her legs around him tighter, pulling back to look at his handsome face.

"Or what?" He teased with a sly smirk, pretending to drop her as she squealed in fear, eyes wide and lips parted, clinging onto his slender but toned form.

"Or this!" Her small fists collided with his chest and he made false noises of pain as she attacked him. He loosened his grip suddenly but caught her before she plummeted into the water, laughing at the way she clung onto him.

"You can't seem to take your hands off me can you, princess?" He mocked, hoping to annoy her into surrender.

She pressed her body closer against his, capturing her bottom lip between white teeth, looking up at him through thick, damp eyelashes. He blushed, realisation slowly setting in as she cupped his jaw with one hand whilst running the other through his wet hair, perfectly painted fingernails dragging along the sensitive skin of his scalp.

He slid his hands down to her butt for 'better support' holding her flush against him, a light pink dusting the high points of his cheeks.

Moving his face closer to hers, his eyes flickered between her soft, wet lips and sparkling e/c eyes, his hot breath fanning her cheeks as she leaned forward meeting him half way, lips barely grazing each other before she pulled away

"You're such a tease."

She shifted, leaning close into the crook of his neck, warm tongue ghosting deliciously over his earlobe before whispering;

"Bite me"

The water splashed quietly as she moved out of his grasp, running towards the riverbank, melodic laughter leaving her lips, falling upon death ears as he watched her dumbfounded.

Once she felt blades of grass between her toes she looked back at him over her shoulder, wringing out her damp hair.

"You should probably close your mouth pretty boy" A sly smirk tugged at the corners of her lips. "You never know, you might catch fish."

She winked at him cheekily, snatching the one lone fish from the spear before prancing in the direction of the rest of the group.
