I faintly opened my eyes, sun making it difficult. I sat up, holding my face in one hand. When my vision cleared, I was in my house. My legs were covered in blood, but I wasn’t alone. I had no idea what I was going to do if it was Nate here. I covered myself with the sheets, and took the rest of them off. I had to either wash them, or dispose of them. I walked out to the kitchen to hear someone rumbling through my things. I peered my head around the corner, thank god. I let the sheets drop, running into his arms.
“Ally, what happened to you? Why are you naked?” Ryan held a shocked expression, holding me close to him. I just cried and cried, not able to find words to answer his questions. He didn’t even do anything about the fact that I was naked, except question it. When I finally was able to pull myself together, I showed him my bruises. “Nate.” Was all he said, before taking off his shirt and giving it to me. He hurried over to the sheets, gripping them so tightly that I could see the white in his knuckles. “We need to get you to the hospital.” Before I knew it we were in his car, on our way to the ER. He held my hand all the way there, and gripped the steering wheel so tightly.
“Why were you at my house?” Was all I could get the courage to say.
“Nate sent me a text message saying that he needed my help with something. He said that you were in trouble, and I needed to get pills for you. I had no idea if it was the truth, but all I paid attention to was that you were in trouble. I think he was just trying to get me to find you in the condition you were in.” He removed his hand from mine, wiping a tear that almost fell from his eye. “How messed up is that.” Ryan said, biting at his lip. I didn’t say anything else, wondering where and what was happening with Nate.
Daphne’s P.O.V
I paced back and forth in the hospital waiting room, with Nate beside me. How could Ryan hurt her like that, right when I was thinking he was the good guy.
“Are you sure he raped her?” I asked Nate, and he didn’t look up at me. “Nate?”
“Yes Daphne! I’m fucking sure!” He snapped, getting in my face. His breathing was heavy, and his hands were finally revealed from his pockets. They were covered in blood, what the? The ladies at the reception desk, gave me a look.
“Nate, we need to go outside.” I tried to say as calmly as I could, beginning to get scared. He rushed by me, not caring about the stares we got. When we got outside, I saw Ally being rushed toward us - Ryan beside her. Now it was all making sense, why would Ryan bring Ally to the hospital, when he was the one to “rape” her. “You need to tell me the truth.” I said to Nate, knowing he hadn’t seen Ally yet.
“I already told you.” He still wouldn’t look at me, hiding his hands in his pockets once again.
“You raped her, didn’t you.” It hurt me to speak these words, but it was probably the truth. There he was, staring into my eyes. Evilly grinning and nodding. I heard a gasp, and looked around Nate. Ally saw him, I had to get him far away from her.
“Hello hon.” He walked over to Ally, kissing her cheek - Disgusting.
“Don’t touch her, you scum bag.” Ryan said, bringing Ally into his chest. They exchanged a glance, and then brought Ally inside. She was shaken, only wearing a jacket to cover herself. Blood covering her legs, and it was probably the same blood on Nate’s hands. I knew he was a horrible person, but I never knew he was capable of doing something this horrendous.
“I’m going to see Ally.” I walked away from this horrible person, taking out my phone. I felt him grab my arm.
“I wouldn’t call the cops there sweetheart.” He looked at me, making me feel it in the pit of my stomach.
“First of all, don’t touch me ever again. Second of all, don’t call me that. Lastly, don’t tell me what fucking do.” I sarcastically smiled at him, walking away with head towards the phone. I scurried inside and told the receptionist to get the cops here very quickly. While I was in the elevator, I could hear the sirens pick up in the background. Now that’s quick service.
Ally’s P.O.V
When we got upstairs, doctors gave me an apologetic look. The only one to actually jump up in action was the one to put me in a gurney, asking Ryan what happened. As I layed in the bed, I stared at Ryan talking. He was truly my hero, and I could never thank him enough for what he’s done for me when only knowing me for a short period of time.
“Now Ally, I know this has already been a very troubling time for you. But I need Ryan to leave, for now and ask you a series of questions.” I trembled, nodding. “My name is doctor Derek, I’ll be watching after you for the next few hours.” Hours? “Sit tight for now, I just have to get my nurses. Try to relax, which I can imagine is very difficult. I’ll take good care of you, I promise.” He touched my shoulder, it was almost creepy how affectionate he was. But I’m sure I wasn’t his first rape patient to come through here. I just hoped and prayed to not be here for too long, because I’m sure I’d be going to the police station next. Nate deserved so much worse than he was probably going to get, since we are ‘minors’. I can’t believe I “loved” him.
