PAIGE:

I get into my ring gear just as Emma walks in.

"Paige, what do you think you're doing?"

"I'm getting ready for my match."

"The whole conversation yesterday, did you forget about that?"

"Not my call, Em."

"Who's call was it?"

"Stephanie's."

"She ordered you not to wrestle in this match, or any matches for that matter, until you're better!"

"Yeah, well. Plans change." I shrug my shoulders and slip on my leather jacket, watching the rest of Sheamus versus Cesaro.

"I'll go talk to her."

"Emma, don't worry about it, I've got this covered and Nikki and AJ know not to hit my head. You're not going to lose me, Emma."

"And if I did? What if you fall out of the ring and you head hits the concrete of the barricade? What then?"

"I'll be fine. You're my best friend, Emma. You're not going to lose me, I promise."

"I better not, or I'll beat you up. Even if you're dead." I laugh and pull her in for a hug.

"I love you, Emma."

"Love you too, Paige."

I walk towards the gorilla, Dolph and Miz were on and that meant I had a bit of time before my match with Nikki and AJ.

"Paige, what the hell are you doing?" I look to AJ.

"I'm waiting."

"For? You're not competing tonight."

"Unfortunately, I am."

"Who made the call?"

"Stephanie."

"Oh, really? I just talked to Stephanie and she said that it will be me, Nikki and Brie in the ring and you in commentary with Florida Flagline or whoever they are." Busted.

"Damn it. I just wanted to prove to everyone that I deserve the title instead of having someone else compete for me." Tears stream down my face and I turn away from AJ. A pair of arms are wrapped around my waist in an embrace and I look up, Seth was standing there.

"Heard you and Leati were a thing, so this is my last hug and goodbye."

"Goodbye? Colby, what are you talking about?" He bites his lip, just like Leati did, and releases me.

"It just means goodbye, Saraya."

"Colby, don't do this to me. Colby, where are you--" he looks at me, placing a finger on my lips before he walks away. I look at AJ, she just shrugs.

I look back at Colby's retreating figure and tears, once again, stream down my face.

A pair of arms wraps around my torso and I nearly jump out of my shoes.

"Calm down, Paige. It's me." I whip around, a smile on my face and hug the death out of Dean.

"I missed you!"

"I heard you were getting banged up."

"Yeah. I was in the hospital because of Seth." Dean loses his smile.
