Naruto P.O.V.
I was walking to the bridge where we always meet, when I see Sasuke leaning against a tree. I don't kow why, but I suddenly felt a heat rise to my face. I approached him and greeted him as usual. He nodded and smirked. Damn he's cute.. wait WHAT NO no no. You can't think that about him! SNAP OUT OF IT! I shook it off and sat down next to him. "Morning, Naruto." He said to me.
"M-m-morning, Sasuke." I cursed myself for stuttering. He smiled and chuckled a bit. God I love his smile. DAMN IT I'M DOING IT AGAIN! But that laugh though.... what's wrong with me..? "SASUKE-KUN!" Sakura yelled. "Hmm" he said, well, grunted. "Where is Kakashi-sensei?" "Late. As usual." I said. "I WASN'T TALKING TO YOU, NARUTO!" She yelled at me.
Sasuke P.O.V.
"I WASN'T TALKING TO YOU, NARUTO!" she yells at him. "Why must you talk to him in that way?" I ask, kind of stunned by my own actions. "Because, he's annoying. Don't you agree, Sasuke?" She asks me. "No. In fact I think he is a better friend, teacher, and just person in general than you'll ever be." I stated cooly. She gasped at my words, but I didn't regret saying them at all. NARUTO was kind if curled up in a ball. He appeared to be sleeping again.
Naruto P.O.V.
After Sasuke told her off I dozed off for a minute or two, then came a big puff of smoke, and Kakashi-sensei appeared in front of us. "Sorry I'm late, I got lost in the path of life." He said. "LIAR!" Me and sakura yelled at the same time, while Sasuke just sat there with his poker face. Does anyone, besides me, notice that Kakashi shows more emotion in one eye than Sasuke does in his whole face? Although its kinda cute. Once again, I felt heat rise to my face. "Naruto," Sasuke says "are you alright?" "Y-yeah." I was surprised that he cared. He crouches down to my level, although he's still taller than me, and askes, "What's wrong, Dobe?" Dobe? He's never called me that before. "We can talk about it later." I say to him. He smiles a small, but sweet, smile and gets up. Sakura looks at me like I'd just killed her family. "What?" I ask her. She just growls at me as if its my fault Sasuke cares.
Sasuke P.O.V.
Sakura glares at Naruto, and I get slightly pissed... why though? Anytime Naruto gets hurt, or looks down my entire day is ruined until he's happy again. He's funny, and gentle and always knows what to say to make my day better. I think... I think I might love him.
