The right words never seem to come Anymore.
Your thoughts are no longer your Own.
Your heart no longer fits into it's Rightful place.
You are not the person you once were.
Your kind is numb.
Your mind is dumb.
Where the girl you knew so well once Stood in the mirror,
Now stands a complete stranger.
Your decisions and opinions are Vulnerable to everything you learn,
No matter the source.
The facts and faults look so alike,
It's nearly impossible to decipher Between them.
You're torn into a million fragments of Uncertainty.
Your soul is your Book of Life;
It tells of everything you are,
Everything you've been through,
And everything you've yet to become.
Yet you come to find that each page Appears to be blank.
Unwritten, you find yourself asking;
What is humility?
Or sympathy?
And what of kindness?
As these thoughts flood your mind With the Intention to drown,
Laws and ethics continuously fight for Your hand in a never ending game of Tug-of-War.
So many conflicting choices and Options,
How ever will you decide?
People send you in different Directions to seek help,
But you can only trust their sources as Much as you ever trusted your own.
How do I end this massacre of Everything I once knew?
This you ask as often as you shed the Cells of your skin.
Then you come to wonder;
Who am I?
Where did I come from?
And was I ever really human?
As you are sucked into the paralyzing Depths of this threatening whirlwind,
You find yourself thinking back to What caused it in the first place.
Desire.
Passion.
Fantasy.
The things that once seemed so Innocent,
