The midnight sky is dappled with stars like a tapestry of diamonds. Moonlight illuminates my surroundings, creating long shadows in its silver white light. I glance over my shoulder to make sure the slow moving crowd of the undead are still following. I catch my reflection in a nearby bucket, my eyes are blacker than coal. I set my sights on a small shack behind a large chapel. Launching myself from the tree that I had been hiding in I dash towards it. My heart pounds as I stare through one of the windows. An old man is sleeping soundly. Suddenly an owl hoots, I take that as my que. Bursting through his door I shout-
"Wakey wakey bitch you got visitors!" I stand in the doorway the light of the full moon making me look ominous. He snorts as he startles awake. His white hair puffs out giving him the appearance of an eletricuted Einstein. I think that's what he would look like, I don't know, Einstein didn't go to hell.
"What is the meaning of this! Begone vile creature of hell! Le-" He cuts himself off.
"Kalypso!" He yells.
"That's my name don't wear it out."I abruptly turn on my heel and make a mad dash away as the undead crowd files towards his shack. I wouldn't let them kill him, just scare him for a little bit. The wind whips my face as I run full tilt away from the chapel. Conjuring a portal to the underworld I leave earth. I end up in my room. This time. Looking down at my bed I see my two Hellhounds, Toil and Trouble. They are both the size of a small bear. And take up the entire bed. I sigh too tired to get them to move and collapse on top of them. Toil who I'm currently laying on mostly moves so I'm in between both of them. I sigh contentedly and fall asleep.
