Ron and hermione had both liked each other but things always seemed complicated. one spring break when they both stayed at school but Harry was busy doing something (probably with ginny) ron and Hermione sat next to each other having the entire gryffindor common room to theirselves "hey hermione?" He said asking her as she was reading a book "yeah" she said putting a book mark on her spot "i-uh well, I, um can I, er, ask you something"he said his ears turning red "uhm yes ron..?"she said slightly hoping for him to ask her out to the next hogshead trip. "I well um was wondering if you would um maybe if you were single and didn't fancy anyone else would you maybe go out with um m-"he said as hermione put her book down and scooted close to him "go out with you well..."she said blushing as she kissed him and he he kissed her back as he hugged her. They felt like this was something out of someone else's life but didn't want it to be at the same time. "Hermione i-i I dont now what to say" he said blushing "well there's no need to and, you want to go to the next hogsmead trip with me" she said as ron then replied "I,sure , I mean of course-"he said fumbling with his words as Hermione kissed him again and that turned into snogging passionately "I love you Ronald " she said "I love you to" he said as they laid togeather after a while they fell asleep right next to each other and after a about 30 minutes Harry came back in "Ron, Her-"he said before he say them asleep Ginny right behind them "oh how cute it's about time they started dating" Ginny said her hand on her hip "oh no...." Harry said "what" Ginny asked "its happening, I'm, I'm... I'm becoming a 3rd wheel!"he said "oh shush! They are sleeping harry leave them be, I am going to go get Hermione's blanket from the girl's dormitory so they won't be cold" Ginny said "oh fine I'm going to go to bed" Harry said as he went to the boys dormitory "oh here you go, oh I hoped ron would get a girlfriend sometime soon" she said as she walking into the girl's dormitory.
The next morning ron woke up on the couch with hermione in his arms *oh shoot what am I supposed to do I don't wanna wake her up* he thought. Hermione shuffles in her sleep rolling over to face into Ron's chest as Ron felt so happy and just layed there with her and eventually Hermione woke up "oh um ron I didn't realize we slept here all night" she said blushing so much it almost looked like she had a fever "well looks like we should get tot he great hall for breakfast" she said.
A week later on their Hogsmead trip Harry was with Ginny and Ron was with Hermione in the three broomsticks "so Hermione are you having a good time" Ron asked "yes, its wonderful, I'm glad you bucked the courage to ask me"she said having a butterbeer "uh Hermione you got something on you face" Ron said. Hermione had a bit of butterbeer on her nose and lip "oh, thanks " she said taking a napkin "did I get it "she asked "nope you still got a little on your nose, here let me get that" he said taking a napkin and whipping it off her nose "there"he said both of them blushing . After a while of hanging out Ron asked Hermione "so um I know we both have liked each other for a while and we've been best friends for years so I was wondering if you would be my girlfriend.." Hermione, looking startled, said "Yes, yes of course!" She said throwing herself on him in a big hug "Really, Hermione I, I, I love you" he said " I love you to Ron!"
During that summer when Hermione was at the Weasley's Ginny was asleep and So was Harry in the other room as Ron walked in the room "Hey Hermione, you awake? " he said whispering "ya" she replied "you sure " he said jokingly "heh, of course I am" she said sitting up as ron sat down on the bed next to her. "Ron I love you" she said cuddling next to him "love you to" he said laying down next to each other. Hermione snuggling up next to him. He kisses her on the forehead. They lay there all night, asleep next to each other. "Ronald Weasley!" Said Mrs. Weasley "oh S###*he thought as they both got up "what on earth are you doing!" Mrs. weasley yelled "I, um me and Hermione are well..." he said "well apparently you got a girlfriend and you don't tell me!" Mrs. Weasley said "well I,I" he said "I would have been perfectly fine with you being with Hermione, I am quite fond of her her actually I jaut wanted you to tell me about it and not sneak of behind my back!!!!!" She yelled "well um Mrs. weasley if you can calm down are you fine with Ron and I dating ?" Hermione said"oh of course I'm fine what kind of mother would i be if i forbid my children from dating if they truly cared about each other" said Mrs. weasley "mom, I am sorry I didn't tell you, can you calm down" Ron said "oh, all right I made breakfast if you want some" said Mrs. weasley
Years later after the battle of hogwarts "Hello Mr. Granger I'm as you know Hermione's boyfriend" he said clearly nervous "yes our daughter has said a lot about you and so you wanted to ask us something" said Mr. Granger "yes I was um asking you for your blessing" he said " oh um I didn't realize things were that sirius (😏) between you to and I mean your so young or are things different about getting together young in the wizarding world" he asked "well yes that is a bit different, bit I do really love Hermione and I wanted to ask for your blessing " he said "well if you really love each other and from hearing what you've been through together ,I say yes you have my blessing to marry my daughter" said Mr. Granger "And mine to " said Mrs. Granger.
