Pulling into the Vons parking lot, I find a place in the front and climb out of my truck. The automatic doors open when is get close to them and I feel the air conditioning instantly hit my face. I grab a cart and walk around the store, picking up things I need as I go. Walking over to the aisle with all of the dairy, I grab a gallon of milk throwing it into my half full cart.

Turning around, I run into a tall man with black hair and arms full of ink. I muttered an apology but he just gave a confused look before walking away.

I grabbed the metal cart and walked the opposite direction of the man. The small wheels squeaked beneath me as I hurried to the cashier.

The lady at the register scanned all of the things I needed and placed everything in thin plastic bags. Paying the middle aged woman, I pushed the cart to my car and started cramming all of my things into the small backseat.

Pulling out of the parking lot, I make my way back to the old apartment building.

It only takes one load to carry all of the plastic bags up to my room, but I have to set a few bags down in order to unlock the door to my apartment.

Walking through the door, I place everything onto the counter tops in the kitchen. I can hear talking coming from the other side of the small apartment and walk over to were it comes from.

I look into my room and see Blair on the phone with somebody, arguing about something.

"No. I won't have it by then. No I alrea-"

She stops talking as I slightly knock on the wooden door stepping into the small room. I watch as Blair tells the person on the phone that she has to go before hanging up.

"Who was that" I ask, sitting on the bed to take off my shoes.

"Jessi. She wanted to know when I was going to give her back her jacket she left at my place when she came over a few nights ago" Blair replies putting her phone in her back pocket.

I simply nod giving her a smile before walking back into the kitchen to start putting everything away.

The cabinet doors make a loud banging noise as they fall shut. A couple minutes later, Blair comes out from my room shooting me a tight smile.

I open my mouth to say something, but I am interrupted by a knock on the front door.
