Chapter 14

The Actual First Day of School.

You should know the ages at this point. If you don't, go back and reread the entire story.

"Your late. Again."

I know Dusk. Twilight got on my case earlier. I'm going to try and update regularly on the weekends.

"At least you have a somewhat decent schedule planned from what I can see."

Hey! I never told you that you could look through that! I have personal stuff in there!

"Yeah, sure you do."

Whatever. Your adopted son's first day of school is here, what do you have planned for him?

"Don't you know? You are the author after all."

That's a good point. I guess I should start the story then.

"Are you sure about this? I mean I get that it's their first day of school and all, but this seems a bit excessive." whispered a voice.

"I'm positive. No one can say no to a party!", whispered a slightly higher pitched voice.

"Would you two settle down? Ah can't hear if they're coming down the stairs or not!", (Do I even need to say this one?).

"Applejack, shouldn't we be a bit quieter? I mean... if that's ok with you?" whispered a male voice.

"I can't see anything in this darkness! How are we supposed to surprise them if we can't even see two feet in front of our own hooves!" whisper-yelled a stallion.

"Darling, could you be a tad quieter?" whispered yet another voice, " You might accidentally wake them before were ready."

"Everybody! Quiet I hear footsteps." said a mare.

-Earlier in a different part of the castle-

"Yaaaa~wn, that was probably the best sleep I've gotten in a while." said a little orange Alicorn.

"Me too." Said a red Pegasus foal. "Ah feel like ah just ran a three-legged hoof race around Ponyville three times."

"Yeah same he-. Wait a minute." said Orion.

"Captain/Orion! What are you doing here!" They both said in unison.

"I live here. Why are you in the castle?" asked Orion.

"Ah don't know. Somethin' or someone must have taken me here." said a befuddled Captain.

"Who knows?" shrugged Orion, "But if you're here, then that must mean that the others are here as well!"

"Your right! Maybe they're still asleep. We should find them and then figure out why we're here." Captain replied.

"What's all the noise about?" said a still groggy Trina, "Hey, Captain..... Captain! What are you doing here?!"

Orion and Captain laughed at her shocked face and tried to explain to her what they planned to do.

"You might be right. If they are here, we better get to them before their parents get worried!" offered Trina.

"We should split up." Said Orion, "I'll take the hallway to the left. Trina, you take the hallway to the right. Captain, you take the hallway going straight. We should be able to find them easier this way."
