As soon as i got back to the hotel last night i fell straight to sleep. Jamei had gone out drinking with Jesse and a few of his surfer friends. I was woken up by my phone ringing. I answered it without looking at the time, or the caller.

"Hello" My voice was groggy.
"Le, you have to get over here NOW!" It sounded like Jesse. I shot out of bed, looking at my phone, it was 1am and he was calling from Jamei's phone.
"Whats wrong?! Where's Jamei!" I panicked down the phone.
"He's here, he got into a fight and.." I cut him off mid sentence.
"A FIGHT?! Jesse how on earth did this happen? Dont answer that, where are you?" I demanded pulling on my trainers and a jacket from the hangers in the closet. He told me where they were and how to get there from the hotel. I grabbed my key-card, stuffed my phone in my pocket and ruched out the door. Not even bothering to turn the light off.

Just as i reached the street they were on i heard lots of shouting. I ran up the street and turned the corner to see a group of guys. Shouting outside a club. What on earth did he get himself into!? I tried to slip past the group in a bid to find Jamei. I spot him in the corner, sat on the curb with Jesse stood next to him and one of Jesse's friends sat on either side on Jamei. I sighed when all of a sudden i felt a harsh grip on my arm. I turned and saw the face of a man.

He had a slightly sinister look on his face and a tough grip on my arm. I tried to pry it away from him but instead he just held tighter. I grabbed him by the throat and dug my nails deep into his neck, drawing blood. He howled in pain, the fire in his eyes deepening as he lifted his hand, in a bid to hit me. I beat him to it and brought my knee up to his crotch. With a loud groan, he doubled over. His grip on my arm loosened and i took the chance to land a blow directly to his face, sending him to the floor with a sickening thud. I walked over to Jamei, with the look of thunder on my face.

The boys had obviously been watching the altercation, "What on EARTH is going on here?" I pull Jamei up by the shoulder on his shirt, he staggered but steadied himself quickly, knowing i was in no mood to joke. He kept his head down as Jesse tried to explain.

"We'd only came out to watch the football. Then when they lost all hell broke loose. I lost him in the crowd, then found him fighting some guy, hauled him out here and called you" Jesse tried not to trip over his own words. If there's one thing i learned, growing up in the North. Take no shit. My family weren't the type to play soft in these situations. We managed to make our way past the large group and into the main street.

"The police have closed the streets, we cant get back to the hotel" I huffed in annoyance. It was 2am and the sun was beginning to come up.
"The closest place to here is Harrison's. We can go there, he wont mind." Borderline dragging Jamei along with me, i sighed, pulling my jacket tighter around me as we walked. I really should of put on a t-shirt in stead of running out in nothing but sweatpants and a sports bra.

..................................

We got to Harrison's and i knocked on the door. After a few moments he answered the door and looked startled to find a group of 4 drunk boys and me stood there. He opened the door wider and the lads piled in, Jesse immediately thanking his mate and dragging Jamei into the spare room and en suite. The other two, whos names were James and Link commandeered the sofas. I walked into the kitchen and leant against the kitchen counter sighing. Harrison wandered in soon after.

"What's going on?" He laughed, scratching the back of his neck.
"I honestly have no idea. I got a phone call of Jesse shouting about Jamei getting drunk and in a fight. The police cordoned off most of the city after the match, so we ended up here." I yawn at the end of my sentence. He came and stood behind me, his hands on my shoulders.
"You're tired. You can have my room." I offered. I shook my head and turned around.
"I'll be fine. I'll just sit with a coffee and watch the sunrise. You need the sleep more than i do if you're on shift tomorrow." I spoke as i turned. Suddenly very aware of the close proximity of our bodies.

He spoke again, this time in a low voice. "I'm not going to let you sit at my kitchen table for hours by yourself" I looked up, looking into his eyes. He suddenly had a smirk on his face. He stepped back and grabbed my waist with both hands. He threw me over his shoulder, a firm hand on my bum to keep me there and he walked through the apartment towards his bedroom.

He put me down on the bed and walked over to his dresser, throwing me a shirt to wear. I stared at him for a moment. He laughed and pointed out, "Sweatpants and Jackets aren't the most comfy to sleep in and you only have a sports bra on. I'll not look. See" He turned his back to me. And i laughed, "You're a sneaky one, Reid." I unzipped my jacket and put the shirt on over my sports bra before shimmying out of my sweatpants. I was folding them and putting them on a seat as he turned back around.

We climbed into bed, our backs facing each other. "Good night-morning, Levi" I stifled a laugh, replying with a "Good night-morning, Harrison". He didn't bother trying to conceal the laughter and the whole bed shook. Which only made me laugh again and pretty soon the two of us were on our backs laughing at each others laughter. The sun was beginning to rise and I shivered slightly. The heat coming from his body was a dream and i subconsciously moved towards him, as we were giggling and chatting about silly things. He noticed this, and tucked me into his side. Soon after, we both fell asleep.

I fell asleep listening to his heartbeat. The safety of his arm around me, just felt right. It was strange feeling. Even with my ex boyfriends they've never made me feel like this. Harrison isn't even my boyfriend.

I had no idea what was going on between us, but i know one thing.
Jamei's going to get it tomorrow.
