"..... Excuse my clumsiness, however, did I hear you correctly?"

Words deluged from my lips as I blinked, attempting to progress the information provided by my parents. I straightened my spine as my palm continues to hold the silver utensils against the circular dish, temporarily forgetting about the food located anterior of me.

"Yes. That is correct. You may even see the letter yourself."

The only female seated on the table spoke before extending her wrist upwards, the minor gesture providing a signal for a servant to retrieve the mentioned item. The individual in the common uniform's eyes widens as she tilted her head downwards before excusing herself to exit the room.

When the female returned, her breath was in a rapid, abnormal state as her chest expanded and retracted, in sync with the servant's air intake. But she didn't dare allow her posture to relax, since it'll be improper when she had the attention of individuals that have superior status compared to her own.

"Well? What are you waiting for? Give it to Asuka.",

The humble servant flinched at the aggressive tone directed towards her direction. But she followed the instructions as her legs carried her to me, with her arms extended and the letter laying on top of her palms. I took the offered item before my eyes scanned through its contents.

Dear Kakashi and Haruka Tanaka of Haru,

        We would like your child, Asuka Tanaka, to join our academy. It would be a great honor to have him after we heard all the things your son has accomplished. The students can become true warriors here, skilled in the use of magic and technology. Red Fountain is the Magix college that trains the bravest boys in the Magical Dimension to become qualified Magix experts. They help the fairies and are always ready to lend a hand. The students live in college. They learn how to use all kinds of weapons, from the most traditional to the most technological. They drive special vehicles that they can use on their missions. Each one has his dragon that he trains with. However, don't be alarmed. We have proper staff and equipment to assure your child's safety. He won't be sent to a mission unless he's properly trained.

       Terms will start on March 17th, XXXX. We look forward to having your child join our huge family.

My eye narrowed as the pondered the consequences of this letter. I realized the option that entering this supposedly prestigious academy had a high possibility. But I couldn't see the appeal since I felt that it'll only waste unnecessary time. I held my tongue as I thought of a proper objection without offending my parents.

"So... What do you wish me to do? Enter this academy?", I asked as I lower the letter before resting it against the polished wooden table. I raised my chin to display a confident manner as I met my parent's uninterested eyes.

"Yes. We heard there are princes and heirs in that school. If you develop a stable connection with them, they could easily be our allies. That would make our empire stronger.", my father said as he laid his eyes on his dish.

"And they have classes that can improve your skills. For example, dragon-riding.", my mother added as she copied my father, not acknowledging my facial expression that showed that I was displeased.
