"My decision is..." What should I decide? Should I give him another chance? We have been through so much crap. Life has not been easy without him, I know I love him. Maybe I can try long distance. "Yes, we can try long distance."
I looked into Ash's eyes I saw the glint return in his. "Really?"
"Yeah, but I have a few things we need to get cleared up."
"Okay," he said.
"So I need you to understand that I am going to school so I will not be on my phone all the time. I can't have you freaking out when I am not answering."
"I am sorry I have done that in the past huh?"
"Yeah and that can't happen, I need you to trust me."
"I do trust you," he argues.
"Sometimes it doesn't feel like you do. You freak out when you see me with other guys and you call and text me a lot. That is another thing that needs to be understood. I have guy friends and I really need you to trust me."
"I will dial down my jealousy."
"You promise?" I question sticking out my pinky for him to make a pinky promise.
"I promise," he says taking my pinky in his.
"Thank you."
"Anything for you! You mean the world to me."
He walks closer to me and pulls me into his arms putting his face in my neck. Oh, how I have missed his warmth and his strong arms wrapping around me and keeping me safe.
"I have missed you so much," he whispers in my ear.
"I've missed you too." I didn't think his smile could get any bigger but I was wrong. His face lit up like a little kid on Christmas day.
"You have no idea how happy you make me. I have never met a more beautiful, smart and strong woman in my life."
"You're such a schmoozer, you know that right?"
"Only for you babe." He winks.
"Whatever," I say smacking his arm.
"Don't you smack me!"
"I'll do what I want," I wink.
Ash started to lean in to give me a kiss but then my phone started to ring. I look down and I see that my mom is calling me.
"Hold that thought, it's my mom." I answer the phone, "Hey mom! What's up?"
"I am just checking on you."
"I'm okay still talking with Ash at the coffee shop."
"Okay well, I need you to do me a favor."
"What do you need me to do?" I need to work on some stuff for Thanksgiving can you run to the store for me?"
"Sure, when do you want me to go?"
"Soonish, I'll text you the list."
"Okay mom, I'll leave here in like 10 minutes."
"Sounds good, love you!"
"Love you too, bye!" I hang up the phone and look at Ash. "I'm sorry I have to leave. I have to go get some stuff for my mom."
"It's okay, I understand. Wanna go out tonight?"
"What do you have in mind?"
"How about a movie?"
