Connor's POV
"Wake up sleepyhead" I whispered to Charla's ear trying to wake her up.
"Shut up I'm trying to continue my dream."
"What?" I laughed. She was so cute.
"Just let me sleep more please." Charla demanded.
"I'm taking you out babe."
"What?" She shot up from her sleep.
"I said we're going out today. Let's go get ready yeah?"
"You didnt tell me we--"
"Wasnt planning to." I smirked.
"Ya know what? Im quite surprised you were the first to wake up." She giggled.
We both got up and got ready for the day. My parents went to work early as well as Lewis who went to school. I remembered on the night I asked Charla to be my girlfriend, she mentioned in a middle of some conversation how much she loved flowers. So today I decided to bring her to Mill Garden. She's the type of girl who loves nature and flowers and such yet likes rock music and grunge-y stuff and I find it really cool.
It was around half past 10 when we left my house. It was weird how it's Charla who knows how to drive and I dont. But we decided to just use a cab instead of making her drive our spare car because when do you make girls drive on dates you call?
We arrived at our destination and Charla's first reaction when she got out of the cab and saw the place was adorable. She looked excited and giggled and jumped around like a kid and I thought God I love her.
"It's so beautiful babe!" She smiled.
"Let's go in?"
We walked around the place and literally wherever you look at, all you see is flowers and plants. Charla loved flowers so much so it wasnt a wrong idea to bring her here. I could see her smiling the whole time. That smile lights up my world. She was so beautiful. She's like a little kid exploring around a garden and I couldnt help but giggle. We reached this place where there were benches and basically flowers surrounding it and we thought of sitting down for a while.
"Hey love, will you wait for me for a minute?" I asked her, standing up.
"Where are you going?"
"Somewhere. I'll be back soon." I placed a kiss on her top head before making my way to this flower shop I saw few minutes ago.
I went to it and asked the lady seller for a boquet of flowers. She handed me one with a variety of different flowers and smelled it.
"Your girlfriend will like it for sure." She said smiling.
"How did you know it was for her?" I asked, confused.
"I saw you two around. She's like those flowers, beautiful."
"I know, Im such a lucky one." I smiled to myself looking at the flowers.
"Take care of each other. I wish you both the best."
"Thank you so much." I said handing out the payment to her before she rejected it.
"It's okay honey. Your girl deserves them anyways." She smiled.
I then went back to Charla who was still on the bench. I walked near her and closed her eyes with one hand while the other was hiding the boquet behind me.
"Cooon?" She said, trying to take my hand off her eyes which she actually did. She turned around to face me as I showed up the flowers to her.
"For the most beautiful girl." I smiled, handing out the flowers to her.
"Aww thank you Connor I loved it!" She took it and wrapped her arms around my neck. "And I love you" she added, kissing my lips. I didnt hesitate to kiss back since it was only us around. Our lips moved in sync. It was a slow and passionate kiss until Charla parted from it leaving me puzzled.
