Most say I'm mean, angry at the world because I died at such a young age. I mean, most people would be, right? In reality, I'm just lonley. I'm the only ghost here at Meadowview highschool, and the living can't see, hear, or feel me.

Most of the time I just stand in the back of my old classes and observe. Things really have changed sense I died. We used to have the most uncomfortable uniforms that we had to wear every day. Now, students can wear whatever they want.

They're out of school attire has changed as well. I can see them from the windows on weekends, wearing shorts skirts and low cut shirts. Before I died, we worse long dresses and couldn't show much skin.

Then again, I died over 80 years ago.

Today was supposed to be normal. It started out that way at least.

I was walking with a group of girls, we were talking about the newest transfer student.

"I heard he had the most gorgeous green eyes!"
"Really?! I heard he had perfectly styled blonde hair!"

I didn't really join their conversations when they talked about boys. They disgusted me. I know, I'm 16 I should be way more mature about this, but I could never bring myself to see boys the way my friends did.

"What about you Carie? What do you think he looks like?"
"Come on Sadie, you know the answer to that.-"
"-Gross, yes I know, Care. Can't you at least try to be interested!? You cant die alone you know."
"I dont see why not. Sounds like fun to me. No constent nagging about preparing a dinner a man is fully capable of making with his own two hands and ten fingers! Sounds like a dream world, Sadie!"

My friends didnt really agree with my thoughts on men, it didnt really bother me much though. I liked to think that my thought process was futuristic!

I mean, come on! Why does the women have to stay at home, clean, take care of the kids she may not have even wanted, prepare every meal, and do that, and more, seven days a week! Insane if you ask me.

But, sense thinking thoughts like mine were basically illegal, I kept them between me and my friends. No one more, no one less.

After what felt like hours of chatting with my friends, mostly about useless boys, the bell finally rang and we all waved each other off and went to our seats.

"Good morning class. With me today, as you all know, is the transfer student. Please, come in Adam."
"Hello, my names Adam and I'll be joining you this year and up until graduation. I hope we can all get along, I want to make many friends and great memories!"

When he walked in, he didnt look anything like the rumors. He had messy black hair, piercing blue eyes, a tall, skinny figure. His skin looked so soft, and his eyes looked as if they were filled with love and joy.

If I wasnt so keen on staying single for all of eternity, he would be my top choice.

"Please, choose any empty seat and I'll explain todays assignment."
"Yes sir."

I tired to ignore the heat racing to my cheeks when he chose to sit next to me. He glanced in my direction and smirked. But that was all. And I would be lying if I said I wasnt disappointed.
