PROLOGUE

" pinky promise?" He let out a pinky , pointing at me as he waited for my reply

I chuckled letting out a pinky to intertwine with his . Soon saying " I pinky promise "

Both us laughed in glee , promising to never leave each others side no matter what . We would always be there for each other no matter what . Partners in crime as he would say , I never disagreed with his weird decisions

Rather going along with it as , it was agreeable . We met at a mall , we were just taking a nice view of the city as cars pass by

He then strike a conversation , starting it off with "  you seems very relaxed " . Weird isn't it? , I faced him confused but amused at the same time

" Thank you , I'm just having a nice day out with my girls " I told him " are you out for an occasion? Someone's birthday? " He asked facing me as I faced him as well

" Yeah , someone's birthday is today " I told him with a smile " let me guess" he said as he acted extra . Touching his chin , acting like he was stroking an imaginary beard

" Is it your birthday?" He asked pointing at me " bingo! How did you guess?" I asked as he smirked  at me " I have my ways " he joked

After a few seconds of silence we laughed " what was that for?" He asked " payback for acting so extra " I told him . We started to chat more and more

Though since I was out with my friends . My bestie daisy told me that the others are waiting for us at the restaurant . I sighed telling her " sure " I waved goodbye to the stranger before he calls out to me

" What's your number?" He asked ' my number?' I thought as I smiled at him " are you hurting on me?" I asked with a playful smirk " nah , but I would love to continue this chat " he said

I chuckled and relentlessly gave him my number " I didn't get to know your name " he said facing up from his phone " my name is Yana " I told him " what's yours?" I asked back " James , nice to meet ya " he said

" Its nice to meet you too " I said as we parted our ways . He showed me his phone with my phone number in it . Happily showing it , soon before I arrived to the restaurant I get his text

" Happy birthday Yana 💩 "

Which made me laugh , daisy was very suspicious  as she looked at me phone . Before looking up at me with a smirk " Yana is being hit on?~ " she teased

" Eww , he would hurt me with a hard hit daisy . Anyways I'm over relationship , like I told you... I don't want to get hurt anymore " I told her before we walked into the restaurant

" Thanks stupid 🤪 " I replied back.

Weeks pass by , I found out he is a student that's doing his A levels . A year or two older than me . He would help me out with homeworks since somehow he has a big brain

Showing off his intelligence after were done with my homework or after he tutors me . Which first started with texts

" YO , jaaaammmmeeessss" I text to him

" What is it idiiiooot 🙄 " he replied back

" Homework 👀" I reply to him as I can hear him sigh

"  Alright , leggo what is it this time " he replies back

Soon then it then went from texts to calls , I would be wearing a over sized hoodie . He would wear his normal house wear . A T-shirt and sweat pants

" Yo , homework 💩" I would text him

" Aight , I'll be ready in a second " he     would reply back

After that we would face call each other . The first call was awkward but soon we got used to it . Acting weird with each other and being very comfortable with each other

Acting as if we were siblings , he would be my ONII-CHAN . He would kill me if I would call him that , and I would be his lil sister

Years pass , our relationship status became best friends . He would go to my house and become buddies with my whole family an do would be the same to his family

One day after a nice day out with him for a walk . He then asks me " will we stay as bests of friends forever?" I looked at him confused " why would you ask that?" I asked " well , im scared if one day... We fall apart " he said as we stopped walking

" James , nothing will come in between our special bond as besties " I told him , staring at him . " Your scaring me " he said as he stepped back " do you want to be slapped with the thick yaoi manga I bought?" I threatened him

" No no... But can we keep a promise?" He asks me as he scratched the back of his head . nervously looking down . " Sure thing " I told him as I bent down

Wanting to face him as he was facing the ground . He was surprised by my sudden action and took a step back " sorry James " I apologized " it's alright Yana " he said as he let out a pinky

" Will you always be my best friend , not only a best friend but my boo . The person I can rely on whenever I need help . The person that will always be there for me no matter what . If the world ends you would be by my side " he said

" I will always be your best friend . Your boo , the person you can rely on , the person that will always be there by your side even when the world is ending . I'm never leaving you . You are apart of me and no one can replace you " I told him

" Pinky promise?"

" I pinky promise "
