Kirishima's POV
————————
I woke up to my alarm clock buzzing wildly beside my head. It feels to early...
Checking my phone I see it's only 7:00.Why is my alarm clock going off this early I thought, running a big hand through my red spikes. I checked my calendar on my phone and jumped out of bed.
Of corse! Today was my day to open the shop! How could I forget. I hopped out of bed and quickly stripped to take a fast shower before going to work. Stumbling into my bathroom I grabbed a clean towel and hung it near the shower curtain.
Turning the shower to its hottest setting, I climbed in and let the hot streams of water roll down my bare back as I scrubbed my hair, making it fall flat against my back , an odd feeling compared to my usual spikes.
Quickly finishing up I climbed out and tied my towel around my waist loosely. Wondering over to my sink I ducked down to grab my hair gel from the bottom shelf... to find that it was almost out.
Well damn, this stuff was expensive, I would have to wait until I got my next paycheck in a few days until I can replace it.
Sighing I squeezed the remainder of the cold goo into my hand, and slathered into my hair, forming my classic updo.
Exiting the bathroom, I quickly slipped on the outfit I had picked out for the day (a tight fitting purple/red cotton t-shirt, black skinny jeans, and my old leather high tops.)
I grabbed my keys and stumbled out the door, checking my phone for the time. 7:35...
God damnit.
Sprinting the rest of the way, I made it there at 7:39.
4 minutes late.
I pushed open the door, half hoping it wouldn't be open so that no would know that I was late, but just my luck, it was open and the chimes at the door jingled loudly.
"Why hello Kirishima."
I winced at the disappointed voice of my pink colleague.
"Suddenly interested in our shoes are we now?" She questioned teasingly.
"You work the back today Kiri."
I look up hopefully at her. "Yes you dumb ass that means I'm not telling Aizawa that you were late, but you better get working on unloading that dishwasher ya know, it doesn't unload itself."Looking up with as bright a smile as I could muster I tackled her with a hug, yelling thank you repeatedly.
"Yeah, yeah whatever, just hook me up with that hot neighbor of yours and we'll be good."
"Jirou eh?"
"Shut up and unload the dishwasher until I change my mind and call Aizawa." She said threateningly, but I could see the smile in her eyes."
I smirked at her quickly before running behind the counter and to the back room to start work.
~time skip brought to you by Kirishima's gayness and the authors laziness🥵🙌🏼~
Finally it was my lunch break! I wiped the sweat of my forehead from doing garbage runs, and decided to have lunch upfront to keep Mina company.
She grinned at me and finished up some girls latte that she had ordered. I grabbed my sandwich from the mini fridge below the counter.
Settling in a stool on the other side of the counter I dug in, basking in the amazing mixture of salami and pepperoni. When I was about half way through the sand which the chimes at the door jingled and a cold gust of wind hit me, making my choke on my sand which unattractively. I grumbled and went back to my delicious sub, that was until Mina opened her mouth.
"Oh, hi Baku, what will it be today? The usual."
"Yeh, and you little fuck I thought I told you to call me Bakugou!"
My eyes widened, I had heard that voice before... and damn... was it attractive. Get it together Kiri your gay is showing, I scolded myself.
Forcing myself to keep looking at my sandwich I let the rest of the conversation play out... I mean... not gonna lie I was curious... I mean gotta make sure this guy was nice to Mina right?!?! Yeah... that's it!
I was pulled out of my train of thought by Mina's voice, she sounded innocent... but in a forced dot of way...
"Oh ok sorry BakuHOE-*hack*-*wheez*- GOU I meant Bakugou !" she said with an 'apologetic' look.
I could almost feel the intensity of his stare even if I could only barely make out his figure in the corner of my eye. Wincing I took another bite of sandwich, curious to here this Bakugou's response.
What I did not expect was to hear a his hot deep voice directing a questions at me.
"Oi, shitty hair, does pinky fuck treat you like this to?"
I choked on my bite of sandwich, for the second time since Bakugou had entered the shop, unattractively spitting food chunks all over the counter, looking up at him, he didn't seem fazed though.
But holy hell was I. He was probably the most attractive people I have ever seen. High cheek bones, an elegant narrow nose, slanted and piercing maroon eyes, and to top it all off, a jawline that evidently had the ability to cut of my vocal cords, considering I could do nothing but gawk at him, my own red eyes bulging.
Holy fuck I am screwed.
