Dyane POV
“Bye, Dyane see ya at class tomorrow don’t forget your lab coat”, Karina waved smiling
“I won’t yeah”, I smiled
Once I left the school’s campus heading towards my usual café “Lil Latte”, bought a seal cup of sweeten cream coffee, then exit the place traveling the same normal route in the park’s flower garden I basically take to go home whilst sipping the coffee a thought came to mind “This garden hasn’t change one bit since I was young”, I frowned to myself with a sigh.
Suddenly my eyes glance down to my watch noticing it was already 6:30pm as I thought out loud
“Oh no Emma, she’s going rind my neck if I reach home soon to do the packing”, since Emma and I are moving to a new apartment upstairs from our old one, I started walking quickly through garden as night falls with a blink of an eyes the hold garden began to look a little scary to my sight already giving my body chills and goose bumps in fear until I heard footsteps approaching me from behind which didn’t startle but cause me to burst an insane level speed running across the bridge almost towards the exit that’s when something tripped me causing to lose balance falling unto the ground in pain.
“Ow”, I groaned realizing my arm was bleeding rapidly with an open cut as soon as I pulled out my handkerchief from my shirt pocket I tied it carefully and gently not wanting to hurt my bruise cut, when I was done, I look around to see what tripped on but there until young guy appeared before me dress in black coat, navy blue jeans.
“Don’t you know tonight is a full moon miss”, he smirked
When I look up at the night starry sky, there was the full moonlight glowing on us as I gulped then all of sudden he spoke out again
“Miss, you shouldn’t be here I don’t want you to be the beast dinner”, he observed surprise expression somehow leaning forward towards my face as I stare into his deep chocolate ocean eyes almost imagining I was sailing a ship through a rough yet calm sea, blinking my eyes to snap myself back my senses pushing me away whilst I wondered out
“There’s a beast in this park, sir you must be kidding or are trying to scare me”, I sarcastically chuckled
“I wish I could be so brave like you miss but….”, an aggressive howl cut him off echoing the park’s garden surroundings then he continued
“I guess we out of time here miss if you want to live I suggest you follow me”, he ordered
Only to realize my body was shivering in fear paralyze by it, I couldn’t move an inch until he grabbed my wrist as began to run off trail entering the park’s forest which was forbidden since government place a sign on it “No trespassing”.
“Wait a minute, we can’t enter here…..Mmm…who are you anyways”, I asked
“Of course, cause we just did, I’m Kai the night hunter”, Kai informed me whilst we were still running somewhere
“Kai, so you the one hunting the beast”, I asked breathlessly
“Miss Dyane, don’t freak out about how I know your name right now, but the agency I’m from has assign to be your partner according to some classified files it seem you aren’t human”, Kai explained
As I stop bending onto my knees panting his words kept quoting in my head on repeat like a broken record “You aren’t human”.
“What you mean I’m not human, I bleed, I feel pain……….Kai”, I shouted noticing he was pointing at something it was my bruise arm
“Unwrap your arm, tell me if your cut has heal”, I demanded
Finally uncovering my cut, I realized it wasn’t open but close my skin was automatically healed which surprise whilst I stated
“Whoa…..”, I watch up to see Kai grinning his teeth suddenly turn into nervous frown as he blurred out
“It’s here”, out of blue someone spoke “What’s wrong, night hunter I am disturbing your lover’s moment”, and it evilly laughed
“Show yourself, I don’t get time for your stupid game beast”, Kai hissed whipping out his sliver pistol in position to target his enemy unfortunately I wasn’t prepare for this being weaponless all I had was my bag pack out of nowhere I felt something landed on my shoulder already feeling my feet lift off the ground turning around his a huge pair of wings, head with six horns noticing a large white bird like a phoenix as I screamed
“Kai, save me Ahhhhh………….”, my body was being control sway back and forth in air like a voodoo doll
“Shut up, I’ll make a great night snack for me”, it giggled
“Kai, Kai I don’t want to be it snack………”,I whined shaking myself struggling to break free
“Yah, stop you little brat your prince won’t save you so stay still and don’t worry but you will sure taste good tonight”, the ugly bird giggled whilst I look down to spot Kai but he was nowhere to be found until I myself falling down in such a heavy impact once I close my eyes everything suddenly stop when I heard a scream
“Ah…………you bastard”, the birdie monster guy groaned but all I could hear his a gentle voice sweetly said
“Shush I’m with you Dyane”, Kai whispered in my ear
Opening my sight to see a pair of golden eyes staring into my soul realizing Kai was a werewolf whilst the white phoenix guy apparently was slice in half bleeding rapidly in crimson blood with his stomach intestines hanging out stretching down which was a totally disgust I swear could almost vomit out of blue teleported us to the ground noticing the phoenix guy heal back up
“Kai it heal itself, how are you going to kill that monster”, I nervously said in the shaky tone
“Calm down Dyane, let’s fuse together”, Kai lip crashed me in one hit somehow transforming us into half werewolf and angel with a deadly electrical sword
“Is this form suppose to scare ha, ha what a joke”, the phoenix guy laughed whilst Kai and I teleported in front of him thrusting the sword his heart
“You such a joke, d level punk”, we both said unison splitting his chest in half using our power together creating a huge electrically explosive bomb inside him as he scream his lungs out in pain
“Ahhhhh……………..”, suddenly *BOOM* pieces of flash scattered everywhere in the park’s forest plus a part of his face landed on my outfit which cause me scream
“Oh my gosh get it off me, Ah…..seriously Kai…”, I whined as Kai unfuse my body sighing taking it throwing it away
