Aisha's POV
I was sitting in my bedroom, reading the Holy Qur'an,I had just finished reading Asr sallah and started reading the Holy Qur'an. After I had read the Qur'an i sat on my bed for a good 5 minutes.
''Aisha, your turn to do the dishes. ''
That's my little sister Aasiyah, she's about 13 years old.
''Okay I'll be right down ''I say whilst fixing my hijab. She walked out of my bedroom and I was sat there all alone, just me and my thoughts.
Me and my thoughts!
It had me thinking about what it'd be like if I were married, I'd think about it every day, thats why mom and dad had me attend madressa, aswell as my sisters Aasiyah, Zainab, Rafeeqah and my little brother's Malik, Luqmaan and Mohammad-Yusuf. Mohammad-Yusuf is the eldest out of all of us, i'm aftet him, then Aasiyah, then Zainab, then Luqmaan, then Rafeeqah and lastly Malik. Of course i want to get married one day, but now... in this day and age.... won't work out, I'd rather wait to be older.
I got up and walked towards my bedroom door, remembering that Aasiyah had asked me or reminded me that i should do the dishes.
''Ah, Aisha what took you so long, Aasiyah called you like 20 minutes ago? ''Asked Mohammad -Yusuf, he's 19 by the way, we're all three years apart.
''I'm sorry Mohammad, I'll go finish up now. ''I say walking strait towards the kitchen and cleaning whatever mess there is, especially now with my little brother Malik, who has just turned a year old, he's the youngest. After cleaning up all the mess, which wasn't too much, I made a cup of tea, it's a daily routine.
Allah hu akbar, Allah hu akbar
Ash-hadu Allah illaha illala, Ash-hadu Allah illaha illala
That's the azaan for Maghrib prayer, its about 6pm, that's because its summer now. After leaving the tea for my mother, I went up to the bathroom and washed wudhu. I made sure my hijab was straight, I put my musallah down and began my sallah. After reading my three rak'ats sallah, it was time for me, Aasiyah and Zainab to begin dinner.
''Aasiyah, Zainab, time to start dinner''I shout, it may seem odd, but my sisters and i cook dinner, because mom thinks, it's another way of practicing for marriage, even though Zainab is 10 years old, mom's still letting her practice.
