(This is my first story I ever wrote on here. I really hope you like it.)
Nicolas was your average 17 year old teenage boy. Or so he thought he was. He had white hair witch to most, he was considered weird for being an outsider. He could dye his hair at any point to look more "natural" to the world but his white hair was natural. After all, he was born with it. Weird, right? Normally you're born with the average brown, blonde, black, or occasional red but to be have white hair as a baby instead of when you grow old was something no one has ever considered a possibility. That was until Nicolas was born. At first, making friends was easy for him because he stood out and he had a very friendly demeanor as a kid but he slowly shut himself out after he and his parents got into a car accident. He started moving around for his dad's job and he didn't want to make friends to just lose them soon after. It terrified him even just thinking about what happened.
He shuddered as he walked into the foreign classroom he would grow to know over the next few months, or until he had to leave-again. He wasn't sure how long he would be able to stay in this town which was becoming a normal for him. He's moved seven times since he was 12. Seven times in New places over the past four years was a lot to manage. He's came and gone from place to place before he came to this new school so he was used to moving away and having to leave his friends behind. By the third move, he decided to just not make any friends just to be heartbroken when he had to leave them. It was a good plan at first but not being able to talk with anyone besides your father for a couple years can make a kid become extremely lonely and depressed. He sighed and looked up from where he stood daydreaming near the door and glanced around for an open seat.
Since he had come in early for the first day, there weren't many seats taken by anyone. He was glad that he was able to move here at the start of the year and not have to start school in the middle of the year. He walked towards the back of the classroom and decided on a seat near the windows. He wanted to sit in the back corner by the windows so he could hide away from being surrounded by people but someone had already taken that desk. The boy in the seat didn't acknowledge Nicolas's presence as he sat down in front of him but instead looked out the window seemingly lost in thought with earphones in. Nicolas could automatically tell that he was very handsome even if he had barely a glimpse of him. He assumed that since he was handsome that the guy was most likely popular. He decided he would stay clear of him. Sure he wants a friend's but not too many. Having a ton of friends after having Nome at all can cause a lot of trauma and give him high anxiety. Well, more than he already has.
Nicolas bit down on his bottom lip, he was so nervous. It's his first day and he promised himself that he would make a friend. Just one friend. That's all he needed but he was scared and nervous. He started tapping his foot on the floor while he glanced at the students that occasionally entered the room and took their seats. He looked out the window at the morning sky to his composer calm and collected. The sun was barely awake and he sighed. Why should he have to wake up before the sun does? Nicolas was clearly not a morning person but then again, he wasn't a person who liked anything besides being alone reading gay fan fiction. He took a deep breath as he side-ways glimpsed at the boy beside him. He couldn't help but look at him and study his features-incognito of course. He had deep ocean blue eyes, was thin yet muscular, and Nicolas had a feeling that he played sports. The guy looked like he was lost in thoughts as he continued to peer out the window with his mouth gently open. He couldn't help how was so captivated by the guy's looks but he stayed quiet. Nicolas mentally fought with the idea of moving away from this boy who he found overly attractive. He wasn't going to switch seats now since he's already mentally claimed this one as his own and he wanted to sit by the windows.
One reason he never really talks to people is because when they found out he was gay, they always seemed to judge him. He never knew why people were so judgmental because he never felt like he was different. All that was different from him and other guys was their attraction to separate genders. It terrified him when he saw his so called "friends" wear the look of disgust on their faces when they found out. That was also one of the main reasons he kept to himself; so he wouldn't be judged over something so small in statue.
