"Do you come here a lot?" Millie asked.

"All the time." Baylee said. Millie smirked.

Baylee set them up in a booth then sat next to Millie and set her chair on the other side.

"You good?" Baylee asked sitting next to Millie.

"Yeah." Millie smiled than opened up the menu. A waitress came pretty quickly and Millie took note that she was drop dead gorgeous and probably in her twenties.

"What do you want to drink sweetie?" she asked Millie.

"Um I'll take a sprite and how about a cheeseburger. And can I get everything on the side?" Millie asked.

"Of course you can and let me guess, the usual brat?" The waitress said looking at Baylee.

"Yep." Baylee nodded and smiled. The waitress messed up Baylee's hair than walked off as Baylee grinned.

"Who is she?" Millie asked. Baylee noticed she looked a little defensive.

"She... is my sister Tess." Baylee said.

"I get to meet your whole family huh?" Millie smiled.

"Yeah. You did." Baylee laughed.

"So!" Tess said sliding into the other side of the booth and handing the girls their drinks.

Millie noticed Baylee's chocolate milkshake. She took her straw out and stuck it in Baylee's milkshake and put her arm on Baylee's shoulder as she took a sip and she saw Baylee smiling at her.

"You don't ever bring friends." Tess said giving Baylee a skeptical face.

"Maybe I'm changing." Baylee said and lifted a brow. Millie smiled and looked at Baylee.

"Or maybe I'm just your favorite person." Millie smiled.

"Going for a Brit huh?" Tess smirked noticing Millie's accent.

"What'd you care?" Baylee said.

"Because... as we all know you are not one to like the human race." Tess said.

"Maybe not everyone in the human race is bad." Baylee remarked.

"And maybe your not a big and bad. Your a softie." Millie smiled. Tess laughed and smiled huge.

"She's a total softie!" Tess grinned. "Huh. Definitely wasn't kicking ass the other night..." Tess said. Millie gave Baylee a look and Baylee grinned and shrugged.

"So, you must be Millie Brown I mean who else could you be?" Tess said and leaned on her elbows on the table.

"Yes and you are Baylee's sister who she never mentioned." Millie said then gave Baylee a face and they laughed.

Baylee sipped her milkshake.

"So what happened to being alone all weekend?" Tess said looking at her sister.

Baylee shrugged and grinned at Millie.

"My friend decided to ditch me for a boy. I was really upset... so I called Baylee." Millie said.

"Your parents don't mind Southsiders?" Tess said.

"Oh well they do... but they like Baylee." Millie explained.

"Mmm I wouldn't say that, your dad looked like he might strangle me on the way out earlier." Baylee laughed.

"He's just protective. I mean I can't even walk so if I was in any type of danger I'd be screwed." Millie laughed.

"You can't walk? Theo you never mentioned that." Tess said.

"Nope. The nerves in my legs don't work. I'm fifteen but I got in an accident when I was thirteen." Millie said.

"I'm sorry hon." Tess said.

"It's fine. I mean that's how I learned Baylee is nothing but a big softie." Millie laughed.

"Oh ha ha." Baylee said sarcastically.

"Wait how?" Tess grinned.

"Well months ago. So the first day of school. I hadn't participated in P.E. in well three years since I lost the use of my legs. It was group dodge ball and Baylee being the lone wolf she is went and tried to hide. The coach saw her and teamed us since no one else would team with me. Normally I just sit out right on the side line and watch. Well Baylee wouldn't let me. She piggy back rode me and it was the best thing ever. I remember telling my parents and they couldn't believe it let alone who she was!" Millie smiled huge. Baylee continued sipping on her shake.

"That, is so so awesome. You don't tell me enough." Tess said smiling at Baylee. Baylee shrugged.

"Save me some!" Millie said and began drinking the shake too when Tess took a photo and the two jumped away from the drink and blushed. Tess laughed and got up. She got their dinner they ate.

"What time is it?" Millie asked.

"Almost nine. We better get going." Baylee said. Millie agreed and sighed.

"Hey is that an arcade over there?" Millie asked looking in the corner of the diner.

"Yeah wanna go?" Baylee said. Millie agreed and Baylee got her in her chair. Baylee rolled her over kind of fast. Millie was laughing the whole way. Baylee won a toy bear out of the claw machine.

"Do you have to be good at everything?" an older worker said as she swept. Baylee grinned and as she handed it to Millie she saw Tess and another worker, a boy exchanging money. He handed Tess a 20 and Tess laughed at Baylee giving Millie the bear. Baylee grinned and rolled her eyes. They loaded up on the bike after saying bye to Tess and they headed back to Millie's house.
