It was early December, and it's amazing how dark it can get by 5o'clock. The only light was from the Huff 'n Puff lit in Bigby's mouth, drooping from the left corner.
Bigby's beige, under-the-knee length coat was buttoned up, and he looked at his watch, which read '5:07pm'. Damn, he thought. She's late. He started pacing to and fro, waiting for her to arrive. A cold breeze picked up, and little drops of rain fell from the sky, extinguishing the only light Bigby had. He groaned and threw his cigarette butt on the floor, before stepping on it. He looked up at the dark, crisp evening sky, squinting as the drops came faster and bigger.
Footsteps. High heels. They weren't too close, but Bigby could hear them ad if they were right next to him, and he recognized the scent which trailed in the same place, at the same pace as the footsteps were coming. It wasn't who he was expecting, so he leaned casually against the wall of the closed Pudding 'n Pie, one foot on the wall, his hands in his pockets. A figure came bouncing around the corner, a small lithe, but extremely curvy figure, with her brown hair dancing behind her as the wind blew it around. Beauty. Bigby raised an eyebrow, and watched as she approached his direction, lighting another Huff 'n Puff, which he quickly put away because the rain was falling a little harder.
"Oh. Hello, Bigby," Beauty said, biting her lip, as if she was embarrassed, or attempting to look seductive. He had to admit, she looked rather nice tonight, but why now? Why here?
"Beauty," He said casually, looking at her directly in the eye. She looked at him, and looked at the motel, and back at Bigby, who just stared at her, his eyelids half closed.
"Bigby, since your here, I have something to tell you..." she began, and Bigby rolled his eyes, however, listening intently. "I, um, come with me." she said, and grabbed his arm, and pulled him to the motel. Bigby soon realized what she was doing, and quickly made her release her grip.
"Beauty, what the hell do you think you're doing?" he growled, but not so much as to scare her. She bit her lip again, and shrugged, looking at the rain covered walkway. Bigby sighed, and put a hand on her shoulder, in a comforting gesture, "Look, Beauty, I'm sorry, but you don't quite seem to understand. I'm waiting for Sn-" she pulled herself to kiss him, and because of the sudden action, Bigby didn't get chance to pull away.
The kiss was short, as Bigby didn't let it last long, however, it was sweet, and passionate, which, surprisingly, scared Bigby. He loved Snow. He loved Snow. But this was different, and a sweet, loving sensation crept into his system, before leaning out of the kiss. He kissed her again. And slowly, but surely, did she succeed into leading him into the motel.
As the tacky, glass door to the rundown motel shut behind him, a girl stood there, and had seen the entire thing. Snow.
