"i regret everything now what was i thinking? why did i send her my address? what is she even gonna do?" i rambled to haneul. i invited minhee over to do our science project.

"hey, calm down! maybe she might be surprisingly nice? don't judge a book by it's cover," haneul comforted.

"ok, ok. yea, maybe she might be nice," the doorbell rang, "i'll call you later, she's here." we said our byes and hanged up. ding, ding, ding, ding. damn can she be anymore impatient? "i'm coming!" i shouted, hoping my doorbell wasn't broken.

"took you long enough. now, i'll let myself in," she said the moment i opened the door. rude.

she put her bag down and sat on my sofa, took out her phone and started posing? i coughed a little to get her attention. "what?" she replied before posing once more. i scoffed and prepared the materials for our project.

"ok, you can start now," she said, taking a tub of ice cream from my fridge. "uhm, no? this is a group project?" i stated, with a hint of sassiness. "yea, but i don't like you, and my favourite drama is on," she said, pointing at the tv.

ok bitch, get out and i'm taking the credit for the project was what i wanted to say, but i calmed down and said sternly, "if you aren't gonna help, please leave."

she shrugged and left, pushing me a little. i knew she wouldn't be much use, so i started by myself.

i took out my notebooks and pens and prepared for war. i turned on my intense war music, plugged in my earphones and researched like it's the last time i ever will.

for 10 minutes, then i slacked off a little, but did research nevertheless. just as i was about done with five pages filled with scribbles and ink smudges, i prepared the formal report.

i bit on a piece of chocolate to get me going, and wrote in the neatest handwriting i could pull off.

the notes were neat and clear, and it was well organised. then i remembered it was a group project. i sighed, realizing i wouldn't get a full mark if it was only done by me. i still had a few days left before the project due date, so i figured i'll worry about it another day. then after i packed up, i heard a ring from the doorbell. only once this time.

  "hendery?"

outside stood hendery in a red hoodie, smiling adorably.
