Start of the day

The sun was slowly rising, just peeking over the land. It's bright gaze shining through the cream coloured curtains giving the room a ethereal look.

A boy in his teens with soft, brown hair and seemingly soft, fare skin could be seen on his bed in the corner of the room.

The room was fairly large, leaving a lot of places in there vacant. It wasn't at all packed however it wasn't empty either. There was the right amount of space needed.

Looking around, there was photo frames hanged up in the walls also having names written in a messy way giving the pictures a scruffy look.

Suddenly, a groan could be heard as the boy finally awoke from his sleep. He leaned up from the bed and rubbed his eyes, letting out long yawn.

He slowly got out of bed and opened the curtains, letting rays of light shine through the window.  Due to this his eyes squinted at the sudden invasion and his green irises sparkled.

Quickly moving away from his previous spot he got ready for the day, already dreading the future events that may occur, including school.

He washed his face and had a warm shower before getting out and wearing a grey, crinkled shirt with a black jumper on top. His top button was undone giving him a casual, but also messy look. He wore skinny jeans with the bottom folded up a bit since he was slightly shorter than an average guys height ( short people problems - can't relate). His jeans had little tears also giving him a rough look. He wore black and white converses with mismatched socks, one white and another with black and white checkered squares.

His hair was all over the place, sticking in opposite directions, but who was he too care.

By now his phone was almost falling of his desk because of all the vibrations from texts sent by his friends.

He glanced over to the almost knocked over phone and let out an irritated groan, rolling his eyes as he reached over to retrieve it.

After turning it on, he skimmed through his notifications on the lock screen, not bothering to let them know he's seen the message. Wonder what's worse being left on seen or your message not even being seen either way he also didn't care. Nothing had seemed to catch his eye as he looked at the messages so he turned his phone off and put it in his back pocket.

He woke up at 5-6 am leaving him with time to spare as his first class was at 9. He sluggishly dragged himself over to the kitchen and made some coffee, so he could actually survive the first few hours of the morning. He plopped himself down on the couch , that was littered with soft fluffy pillows, after placing his coffee on the mini table in front of him.

He turned the TV in and searched through the channels to see if anything interesting was on, unfortunately nothing was interesting to watch. He still had an hour and fifteen minutes to kill before leaving his apartment. Having nothing to do, set another alarm and slowly drifted off to sleep.

He slammed his hand onto the phone and picked it up, turning off the alarm while doing so. He looked at the time and decided he should just leave the house and get there a bit early without stopping by the cafe he usually goes to. He walked to the door, making sure he also has all his stuff, and headed out.
