What just happened?

Today was the day the I was going to move out of my parents house. Now don't get me wrong I love them with all my heart but it's time to finally be independent for once. So like everyone does I packed up my bags and bought an apartment. When I go to my new humble abode I started unpacking right away. This took about....let's say more then two hours but it was worth it.

So let me list of what I did unpacked, got furniture, food because food is my life!, then finally stuff to eat out of like bowls, pans, plates, etc. I was exhausted after all that and I felt so proud of myself but that feeling was short lived when all of a sudden I hard a rip like sound coming from the living room. When I went to go investigate I found a rip like portal thing. "What the what?" was this normal? I'm I going crazy or something? Those were the thoughts that were going though my head as I inched closer.

And like everyone says Curiosity killed the cat and in 1 second of getting close to that thing it sucked me in. Now screaming like a banshee was an understatement at this point I was screaming like a Maniac. I was reaching out to try to grab something but there was nothing because when I opened my eyes I was falling from the sky. " welp guess I'll die"

i was bracing for impact at this moment and when I did finally hit the ground I didn't get hurt, not even a single scratch but the ground was a different story from the height and the force of me falling. I made an indent and I wasn't small it was like a meteor hit it " how in the hell I'm I still alive?" But just when I though I was alone "are you alright miss?" When I turned around to see who was talking to me I came face to face with a dude with sunglasses glasses but that's not all he had a black T-shirt on that said nato, shorts, and the American flag for a face. Oh yeah and white eyes ok ether I have a concatenation or I'm dead.
"Is this heaven?" The looked confused after from that question "unfortunately no it not" I turned red from embarrassment "o-oh sorry" he laughed and said "nah it's fine, names America by the way" I tilted my head from confusion. Ok did I hear that right America like United States of America, America?
" oh I'm y/n L/n nice to meet you" he gave me his hand to help me up " like wise. Anyways it's been a long time since I've seen a human before." "hmm" " so what brings you here?" " that's just it I don't know." He stood there for a few minutes " well do you have a place to stay?" I shook my head because obviously I have to place to go to

" you can bunk and my place, I have a guest bed room and I bet my roommates won't mind" " but I don't want to be a burden to you and your roommate" " trust me you won't now come let go." He took my hand which made me yelp out of surprise as we sped of towards the house.
