Dear Diary:

I woke up and Liv was gone, weird. I stood up and walked over to the kitchen hoping to find her there, but all I found was a note on the fridge that read “hey baby, sorry if I scared you! Had to do some grocery shopping bc there’s literally nothing to eat, I’ll be back by 12 okay? xoxo- Livy”

Ugh amazing. I took a shower and waited for Liv to get back. It’s 12:30 already, where can she possibly be? What if she got hurt? Or worst, what if she got kidnapped? I took my keys and left to the market she usually goes to. After 5 minutes of driving I parked my car in the first spot I saw and sprinted to the entrance. If I don’t find her I don’t know what I’ll do.

I started walking trough the usual aisles she always shops in, didn’t find her. I started asking people if anybody had seen her but they all shook their heads, maybe she didn’t come here? I dialed her number on my phone and waited for her to answer but she didn’t.

Something is definitely wrong. I was so caught up in my own thoughts that I didn’t even see the guy coming towards me until we crashed and both fell on the ground. That’s all it took for me to start crying, I lost my best friend.

“Hey, what’s wrong? Did I hurt you? Are you okay?” The guy asked me while kneeling down to help me. His eyes were lost somewhere else, but he was very cute. He had blonde hair and bright blue eyes.

“Sorry, I just I wasn’t looking where I was going.” I quickly wiped my tears and stood up. I was about to leave but he took my arm.

“Wait, why are you crying?” He insisted.

“Just leave it, it doesn’t matter.” I’m not going to tell my problems to a complete stranger. “I gotta go, bye.” I shook my arm and left, still crying. I can’t lose her, I need to find her. I drove back to my house and her car was there. I rushed to the door and opened it shutting it tight behind me.

“Where are you Olivia?!” I shouted.

“Here!” She walked out of the kitchen. “Oh my God what the hell happened Ivy!? Why are you crying? Did someone hurt you?!”

“No, you fool! I was sick worried about you! You were 30 minuted late and I thought something had happened to you!”

“No, I’m totally okay!” She laughed.

“Not funny.” I spat at her.

“Hey don’t be mad babe, it was an accident.”

“It’s okay I guess, you made me crash into the most gorgeous guy I’ve ever seen.” I wiggled my eyebrows at her.

“Really? What was his name? Did you get his number?”

“No.” I sighed, “I didn’t even get his name, I was too upset so I just stood up and left.”

Liv and I kept talking and I don’t know how but she convinced me to go back to the grocery store and look for him, it had only been 10 minutes since I left there so I guess he must still be there. I found him finishing paying off his stuff and I walked up to him.

“Hey.” I waved.

“Oh, hey.” He said. “Are you better now?”

“Yeah, sorry about that. I thought I had lost a friend but she was back home.” I laughed. We kept on talking for a while and he gave me his name and number. I saved him as Lukey. He is a very interesting person, and I find it really weird that he hasn’t looked me in the eye for the whole time we’ve been talking, which is not a lot but still. We said we’d see each other some other time. I’m really looking forward to it.

xoxo
