It was still night time, about to be day, and Askova and the others were walking to somewhere safe. Right now, they were currently just walking, trying to survive, trudging through the snow.

" Askova, where are we going?" asked Lindsay, holding nothing to protect herself. Askova took out her sword and killed a nearby cannibal.

" I don't know," she replied as if everything was fine. It wasn't, though they were stuck in the middle of nowhere.

" Why did you come?" asked Derek. He was talking to Dave. Dave looked at him.

" Because... because I thought you guys would know more about survival. They didn't know anything. They don't really know how to shoot guns either," Dave replied, out of breath, " and cannibals roll of the tongue better than gravers." Derek nodded his head and started forward. Willow walked out of the track, walking in the woods.

" Um, Willow I don't think..." Destiny started. Willow came running back, giving good news.

" I knew it! I thought I saw a house over there!" commented Willow. Askova shot her head towards Willow.

" A house?" Askova ran after Willow, bringing Lindsay with her. She didn't have a weapon, so Askova thought that she would just bring her with her. Everyone else was running towards Willow. They ran towards Willows direction, ending up on a brick house on a hill, right next to a highway. Ray walked over to a nearby sign.

" Huh, this highway leads to St. Louis," said Ray, looking down the highway. Derek walked down towards her and brought Ray back to the house. Askova had her sword in her hand, approaching the house to kill the cannibals in the house if there are any. She tripped over a stick that was on the ground that she didn't see. Askova looked down. A cannibal came out of nowhere and jumped on Askova. The cannibal was trying to bite her face off! Askova held her arms up so that it wouldn't bite her.

" Ahh!" Askova grunted. Lindsay grabbed a piece of wood and stabbed the cannibal in the head. Askova pushed the cannibal to the side. She got up and wiped some of the blood off of her. She looked at Lindsay.

" Your first cannibal, congrats," Askova said, then walked in the house. Lindsay puked, dropping her piece of wood. Askova stopped and walked towards Lindsay.

" Okay, come on, get it out," Askova was patting Lindsays back, making sure that she would be finished puking. There was yellowish-brown puke on the snow.

It was turning daytime, and the others needed food and protection. They walked inside the house. Michaela set her bazooka down. Askova, Dave, and Michaela scouted the rooms to make sure that there were no more cannibals left in the house. Lindsay, Derek, Willow, and Destiny stayed in the kitchen, to scavenge for food. Ray was trying to fix the stove, so they can cook food. It was a gas stove, and it couldn't work. There wasn't any plug or anything to make it work, so she needed a match to light it.

" Did you find anything?" asked Destiny, still ravaging through the cupboards. Lindsay shook her head. Ray walked over.

" Well the stove will work, but we need a match for the flames to light," commented Ray. Destiny looked sad but nodded her head. Derek opened the fridge.

" Hey look, there's water," he said. Willow walked over and took a water bottle. It was warm because the fridge didn't work, but she took it anyway. She opened the water bottle and poured it all over her. Lindsay laughed.

" Feels good after feeling cold all the time!" said Willow, happily. Destiny opened the last cupboard that they haven't opened yet and saw food. It wasn't very much though.

" Jackpot!" she said. Derek walked over and saw chips.

" Chips. And it's barbeque!" he said. Destiny looked at the bag.

" These chips are a week old," she said, looking disgusted. Derek shrugged.

" I don't care," he replied, opening the bag.

Askova, Dave, and Michaela came back, holding stuff. Askova found a flashlight and shotgun, a Remington 870 Express with only a half box of ammo for it. Dave found some medicine and a crowbar. Michaela found a lighter and two walkie talkies that still worked. They were ones that kids would use, but she thought that they would be useful.

" What did you guys get?" asked Derek, mouth full of barbeque potato chips. Askova, Dave, and Michaela set their stuff on the floor. Everyone sat down and looked at the stuff they found. Derek nodded his head.

" Okay, did you guys find any food?" asked Michaela, " I'm starving!" Destiny pointed to the cupboard with the food. Michaela got up and grabbed a bag of rice.

" Does that stove work? We should be able to cook food." Askova looked at Ray.

" I need a lighter or match to light it up. It's a gas stove," she replied. Askova picked up the lighter and handed it to Ray. Ray lit the lighter.

Derek explored a bit more around the house and saw two doors. He tried to open it, but it was locked. He walked to the kitchen, where everyone else was hanging out, and grabbed a crowbar that Dave found.

" Derek, what are you doing?" asked Askova, getting up. Derek walked back to the two doors and put the crowbar in the crease of the two doors. He pulled the crowbar towards the left door, and the door cracked open. Askova walked to back to the kitchen and grabbed her sword then ran back to Derek, who was waiting at the door. She got her sword out and nodded at Derek. He nodded back and opened the doors. Willow appeared, holding the M16A1. She walked down in the room with them. Askova was holding her sword, pointing towards the ground.

" Askova, leave your sword in your scabbard, only take it out when you need it," whispered Willow. Askova nodded and put her sword back in her scabbard. the approached the bottom of the room, very dark. Derek felt the walls and found a light switch. He switched the light switch to on. When he did, they saw a sight that they were not expecting to see.
