(In this story, I'm not going to change POV and all that stuff because that is just way too confusing for me, so I'm just going to keep it on 'Katie's' POV. I hope that you don't mind but I just think it'll be easier to keep track. I know it's better to change POVs because it tells the reader what the other people's emotions are but, too much effort writing on every chapter, ' Ian's POV' or 'Anthony's POV'. Sorry)

CHAPTER 1
15th August 2002
Do you know who Ian Hecox is? I went to Middle school with him and two years of high school. We were quite close until the end of the end of the second year of high school. Me and my family were moving. We moved to England, somewhere in Essex. From the beautiful Sacramento, to dull, boring Essex. My life so far was perfect before, with the the best friends you could only imagine. Now I had to start all over again.
So, on the first day of school, I was a complete loner... Everyone had already decided who they were friends with, and I was most definitely not one of them. I sat by myself at lunch, watching everyone else having fun. A while later, two girls two walked up to me. One of them had dark red hair, her tie in a simple knot and her shirt half tucked in. The other girl had light blonde hair. She didn't have a tie on, but just a shirt and blazer. Both had heavy eye makeup and skull and bones jewelry. "Hi" Said the dark hair girl. "How come you're sitting all alone?" she said five times fast. "Uhh, I'm new." I said shyly. "Oh cool! wanna come with us? We were gonna go sneak out to get some food." She said this five times fast again. "uhh-" I started "My name's Lauren and this is Tori." She interrupted. "I'm Katie." I said starting to come out of my shell. "Where you from? Are you American? I love your accent whatever it might be."
I knew even then that I shouldn't of become friends with those girls but I was desperate and felt completely pathetic.
17th August 2004
Before I came to England, just over two years ago, I was a goodie two shoes and always played by the rules. Now I cake my face in makeup, dye my hair a dark red/purple colour and always make sure that it's dead straight. I wear black and white, high heel boots and a black and silver, and a studded choker. I act and look like a punk but secretly, I still prefer the old, loser me. The one who still gets excited when she sees snow, the one who enjoys watching Barney with my little sister. I don't know whether it was not being in my hometown or just to fit in with my new 'friends'. I wish could just move back home. I would give anything in the world to be back where I belong.

I hoped you liked this first chapter (you probably didn't) pretty short but couldn't find anything else to say. Please tell me in the comments below 'cause it's my very first fan fic :)
