I flew into my castle to see my brother. Nocktron. I despise him due to the fact of his dark magic.

Our mother was a shadow dragon, and she became mates with a magic dragon. Which to their expectancy they thought they would get a regular child instead of a mix. They were very ignorant.

Well, my brother was born before me. When his father saw him he left, leaving my mother mateless, so she got a new mate. A sky dragon. But again to their expectations, they wanted a normal child. Again, very ignorant.

I was born in a dark cave near a water docking of old boats,. The plant dragons ride these things to visit their allies the water dragons. That's how I got my name. It was because I was born right next to a dock.

Since I became a Nightsetter, it was a break in history. For the sun never sets, it just stayed in the sky. But now, there will be night. That's how I'm king, for I am the first Nightsetter.

"Oh hello brother," Nocktron said in a sarcastic voice.

"What are you doing in my throne? And where is Stark?" I gave him a low growl.

"Hold it there brother..." He started to say, but I cut him off, "We are not brothers!"

"Well, I just thought I could use a little family reunion? See my little nephew, and to take a stroll around the kingdom!" He said with a little smile on his face.

I rolled my eyes. Nocktron hopped out of my throne. I walked up to it and sat down in it.

"I don't want your throne" he started to say looking away from me, "I'm going to start my kingdom under the dark magic!" he said in a retort.

I stood up in anger growling at him." You shall not! No one should unbalance the elements in the land of Shiria!".

"Who would stop me?! Would you? Go ahead tell the council!" he started to growl back at me.

"Leave then," I said.

"No" he retorted.

"Leave"

"No"

"LEAVE!" I gave a sudden burst of anger and my wings went up in a fit of furry.

He flinched looking at me.

"I curse you Nocktron. I banish you. You are not allowed back into the shadow kingdom ever again. You and your children, and your children's children will now be laughed at for your misfortune. You will not be appreciated for your dark magic here!" I roared.

He turned around and started to walk off. He then stopped, turned around, and looked at me with hate in his eye but a smirk on his face. Then in an instance he vanished into thin air, leaving a cloud of dark purple.

I walked into Starks room. There he was looking out his window looking at all the dragons in the kingdom.

"Dad?" He said as he turned around, "Dad your back!" He said bounding up to me hugging me with his wings.

I let out a chuckle. Stark was a good boy. About 1600 years old. He loves to study stars and fire the most. He was the brightest student in his class. I couldn't ask for a better son.

"Where's mom?" He said suddenly looking at me with confusion.

"She.. won't be coming back," I said slowly and calmly. Tears started to swell in my eyes.

"Why," he asks pleading.

"She's dead."
