Lena?

I flew quickly back to Lcorp. I entered through the balcony door.
"Lena?" I called no answer. I tried again. I ran round the corner and found edge stood with Lena. He had his arm round her throat and a gun to her head.
"Edge let her go!"
"What are you going to do about it?"
I shot a beam at the gun and it flew out his hand. He ran but I ran for Lena instead. She would always be my first priority.
"Lena?"
"I'm okay."
"Are you sure?"
"I'm fine. It just shocked me, I didn't expect it."

Lena's POV
After re assuring her a thousand times, Supergirl finally left and I headed home to my apartment. I walked through the front door and headed straight to the kitchen. I opened the draw, took out a corkscrew and got a bottle of wine. I sat at the table and poured myself a glass then another and another.

Karas POV
I quickly got out of my hero outfit and headed to Lena's apartment. She had said she was fine but I didn't believe her. She had given me a key to her apartment when Mon El first left so if I ever needed anything I could just show up. I have her a key to my apartment too.
"Lena?"
I heard a faint smash and ran to see Lena with a almost empty bottle of wine. I looked to see a glass had clearly fallen off the table explaining the smash. Lena took another sip of wine while I cleaned up the mess.
"You know, you're not very good at lying to me."
"I wouldn't be so sure." I said under my breath.
"I'm sorry." She said suddenly.
"What for?" I asked.
"Everything."
"Supergirl told me what happened."
"It's fine."
I sat on the sofa and Lena joined me. She laid her head on my last and quickly fell asleep. I picked her up bridal style and carried her to her room. After putting her under the covers I cleared up and fell asleep on the couch.

Lena's POV
I woke up the next morning confused on how I had got here. I looked over to see a note, a glass of water and some ibuprofen. I read the note with a smile.
"Dear Lena,
I left you some pills in case you have a hangover, I slept on the couch and hoped to see you but duty calls and I had to go into work early. See you soon.
- Kara xoxo"
I smiled at the note and got dressed and ready for work.
I was surprised when I walked into the kitchen to find a vase of flowers. I read the note attached to them: "I thought you could use something to brighten your morning. Have a good day. - Kara x" I smiled again. I really didn't deserve a friend like her. Friend. The word ran through my head over and over again. Truthfully I didn't want to be just friends. I wanted more. I doubt she would ever like me in the same way though.
I walked down the stairs and reached my car deep in thought as I sat down. I drove to work in record time and was greeted by Jess at the door.
"Miss Luthor. Is there anything I can do?" She asked politely.
"I'm good for now. Thank you though Jess. You do a lot for me."
She smiled and headed back to her desk while I headed to my office.
It was lunch when my phone Pinged with a message from Kara

Kara: hay, if you're not busy want to grab some lunch but it's fine if you have plans.
Lena: I cancelled. Meet you at Noonans In 15?
Kara: you canceled? Why?
Lena: priorities.
Kara: I'm a priority?
Lena: always. Anyway Noonans In 15?
Kara: Noonans In 15.

I walked up to Noonans and saw Lara waiting outside. I greeted her with a hug and we headed in. As we were walking to our table our hands brushed against each other and it felt like a bolt of electricity running through my arm. we sat down and I smiled at her.
"I managed to drag the Lena Luthor away from all her work?"
We both laughed and the waiter came over.
"What may I get you two lovely ladies?" He asked.
"I will have a kale salad please." I said.
"Potstickers please."
I laughed.
"Of course you got potstickers." We laughed and joked until our food arrived.
"Have you ever even eaten Kale before Kara?" I asked smiling already knowing her answer.
"No." She replied sheepishly.
"Try some?" I put some on the end of my fork and held it to her. She smiled and opened her mouth. I fed her the kale. Her expression went from okay to a look of pure disgust. I had tears streaming down my face where I was laughing so hard. I regained my composure after receiving a friendly glare from Kara.
"Oh my god! That's gross! That's like kryptonite!"
"I thought Kryptonite only hurt aliens?"
"It does but that's what I imagine it's like."
I smiled. I swear I was truly in love with this Dork. The lunch felt kind of like a date. I mean it was just the two of us laughing and enjoying each other's company but I couldn't imagine spending all her time with anyone else. After the reporter had not so gracefully stumbled Into my life (she was extremely clumsy) with her warm hugs and humongous amount of food I couldn't help but fall in love with her.
"Leeeeennnnnaaaa?"
I didn't notice the hand being waved infront of my face. I smiled.
"Sorry I spaced out."
"That's okay. I just wondered if you wanted to join us at game night?"
"Sure! Who is going to be there?"
"Alex, Maggie, Winn, James, Sam, Veronica, me, you."
"Sounds great."
We talked for some more before we both had to leave.
"See you later?"
"Of course. Your apartment at 5?"
"Yeah."
"We need to do this more often."
"Even if it's to keep you out the office for 5 minutes."
We both laughed and shared a hug.
"Bye Kara."
"Bye Lena."
I headed back to Lcorp and couldn't wipe the smile off my face. Tonight was going to be great.

— time skip —

I arrived to Kara's at 5 with a bottle of wine for us all. I knocked on the door and Kara answered with a huge smile.
"Lena! Hi!"
"Hi. I brought some wine."
"Thank you."
I placed it on the table and saw that Only James and Winn were left to arrive.
"Hi Lena!" The 3 girls yelled from the sofa.
"Hi."
Within no time we were all extremely drunk and halfway through a game of Mario Kart. We had already played monopoly (I won with flying colors), uno and Irish Snap. I won the race and winn turned to me with a smile.
"Damn it Luthor! Why are you so good at everything!" He said loudly. I shushed him and turned to look at Kara. The blonde was passed out snoring softly on the armchair. She scrunched her nose up in a adorable way and I couldn't help but smile. Maggie and Alex were passed out together on the long couch, James was talking to himself and Sam and Veronica were taking shots. I turned back to Winn.
"You know there is one game I'm bad at." I admitted.
"What's that?" He asked.
"The game of life." I said sheepishly
"No way! We should play it sometime." He said with a grin.
I raised an eyebrow. "Just so you can beat me?"
"Duh?" He said before grinning widely. I laughed and shoved his shoulder.
"I challenge you to another race."
"Challenge accepted!"
I smiled. I felt happy here, accepted. The Luther's hadn't given a crap about me my whole life but here were these amazing people that truly cared for me and would probably be the death of me with all this alcohol and all these games. This was the closest thing i had ever had to a family and instead of filling me with sadness and Anger the word filled me with love and happiness because I finally had people that i liked and they liked me for who I was.

— Kara's POV —
I woke up lead on the floor with Lena's head on my stomach. I sat up an inch and leant on the armchairs leg. I started to play with her hair when I saw her eyes start to flicker open.
"Morning."
"Uuuhhggggg."
I laughed.
"What happened?"
"Me and Winn stopped playing Mario and started to do shots with sam and Veronica, Alex and Maggie woke up and joined us. Then when we were done You fell of the sofa and I came and laid with you. Alex and Maggie ended up sleeping on the kitchen floor, Sam is up there on the sofa, Veronica I believe fell asleep in the bath and Winn and James are somewhere."
"Fun night then."
I smiled down at her. I could truly get lost in her eyes.
"It felt like I was with family. It's something I never felt with the Luthors. It never felt we were a family but last night I felt like I finally belonged."
I stared into her emerald green eyes and smiled.
"We all love you so much. You know that right Lena?"
"I do. And I love you all too."
She smiled up at me before curling up and falling asleep this time her body was in between my legs and her head lead on my chest. A loud bang at the door however made everyone shoot up from where they were sleeping and caused Veronica to run in from the bathroom looking dazed.
"What the hell?" Alex moaned. Everyone joined together by the sofas and Lena headed towards the door when whoever it was kept knocking. She opened the door and a person in a red mask stuck their hand at us and everyone but me, Lena and Alex passed out. They picked Lena up by the neck.
"Let her go!" I stepped forward.
"I could easily snap her neck." Their voice sounded like an automated computer message.
"No please! Take me. Take me instead. Please." I begged.
"I know who you really are!"
With that they dropped Lena and ran. The minute they left everyone woke up. Lena fell to the floor coughing and holding her throat. I ran over to her and Alex explained what the hell just happened.
"Lena? Are you okay?" I asked worriedly.
"I'm okay." With that she passed out in my arms.

I was supposed to upload this 2 days ago but i wanted to make it longer but I then had writers block but then I got an idea and came up with this 😂
