She's not my girlfriend. Wht r u talking about

By that time I had finally arrived at where we were rehearsing. The messages Michael had sent me made me very curious and excited, so I grabbed my guitar and power-walked it to the garage.

I strolled in to find the girl with her back turned to me and all the boys facing me. She had straight blonde hair as opposed to her natural curl that framed her face.

"You're finally here!" Mikey said with a discreet wink.

Olivia turned to look at me and I had to hold in a gasp. She wore a tight, black tank to match the color rimming her bright grey eyes.

"Luke," Olivia smiled.

I was met with an embrace. I noticed how she quickly nuzzled into my neck, making me slightly bend down to return the hug.

"Hey V." I was grinning ear to ear. She looked so happy and confident and hot. Well hot may be a strong word. She's your friend, don't make it weird. I thought. But she just looks so perfect standing there. Were her lips that full before or is that just the lipstick stain?

I discreetly shook my head to rid myself of the inappropriate thoughts running through my head, but as she walked to her keyboard, I couldn't help but notice the fabric hug the curves of her body. I took my bottom lip between my teeth and watched her.

"Hey, you okay mate?" Ashton clapped his hand on my shoulder.

"Never better."

He stared at me for a second and walked over to Olivia. Something clenched in my chest when I saw her blush and giggle when he whispered in her ear. I bit down on my lip and aggressively began tuning my guitar. Whenever I glanced up at them, I bit down harder. It felt like all I could hear was her giggling in response to him. The color red started to fog up my vision.

I felt a hand grip my shoulder.

"Luke,"

"What?" I spat.

"You alright there?" Mikey lowly asked.

"Yeah. I'm fine." I said gruffly as I peeked up at the couple.

Michael followed my eyes, confused. He smirked at me when he realized my jealousy.

"Oh Lukey. Little, innocent Lukey. When will you learn to fight for what you want?"

The next thing I knew Michael had shoved me in Olivia's direction.

"Hey liv, do you want to go over the harmonies before we get started?"

Smooth. I mentally pat myself on the back.

"Sure, Luke."

"I never got a hug," I pouted and held out my hands.

She smiled and wrapped her arms around my neck an nuzzled her cold nose into the crook between my shoulder and throat. I buried my face in her hair and smelled the fruitiness of her shampoo. After holding each other for a moment or two too long, she slipped out of my hold.
