Danny's POV
I walked into school looking around for Jorel but I quickly felt a hand on my shoulder, I turn around thinking that it might be Dylan but I'm met with a fist to my face instead, I fell over grabbing my now bloody nose, I looked up to see my attacker but before I could I'm kicked in the jaw, I Let out a yelp of pain and get kicked again, now I feel one of my teeth become loose. I'm kicked a few times in the ribs, I close my eyes praying for this to be over, the pain was killing me, then the attacks stopped and I hear what sounds like a struggle, I opened my eyes to see Jorel fighting with what looked to be another boy who I assumed to be my attacker, "GET OFF OF ME JOREL! WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!" "DON'T ATTACK DANNY ARON!" Jorel hissed at this boy. seeing them fight scared me so I quickly ran off and hid somewhere "god what was I thinking helping someone so violent" I thought to myself, Dylan walked over to me "oh god Danny boy what happened to you? are you alright" I looked up at him with tearful eyes "I.. got jumped by Aron... Jorel actually defended me... but they were both so violent it's scary..." Dylan hugged me "Listen it's ok... just stay away from them and hang with me and the rest of the guys, we can protect you"
then in the worst timing ever Jorel appeared "h-hey dan" I looked at him and noticed how beat up he looked, sympathy filled me and I locked eyes with him, I looked deep into his chocolate brown puppy eyes... I could see everything in them, pain, unhappiness, protectiveness, I memorized his face like it was the last time I'd ever see him, but all I could say was "Stay away from me..."
