Lance ran across the rocky terrain, 'where could he be!? What if he's hurt!? I have to find him!' Lance's mind raced. If only he hadn't fought with him he wouldn't have left. As lance got to the top of a hill he saw smoke. He looked down and in the bottom of a ravine was the remains of the escape pod. "Keith!" Lance shouted as he ran down the side of the steep ravine tripping a few times on the way down. "Keith!" He shouted again. He ran through the rubble until he found the pilot seat...no Keith. Lance was so frightened. "KEITH!" He shouted again not willing to give up. He heard the other paladins run to the edge of the ravine but didn't address them. 'I have to find him!' Lance heard a noise from a few feet away, behind part of the engine. Lance ran over and saw Keith laying on the ground. "Keith!" Lance plopped down and cradled the bleeding and broken body. "Keith..." Keith groaned. "It's ok. I'll get u back to the castle for help" lance picked Keith up and he winced in pain. Lance had tears streaming down his face "it will be ok" The other paladins had gone back to the castle and told Allura to bring it to the top of the ravine. Lance carried Keith to the castle where they immediately put him in a healing pod.

TIME SKIP- next day

Lance decided to stay next to the pod until Keith was healed. After all he was the reason that Keith was almost dead. While he was waiting he had fallen asleep. A few hours later the pod opened and the vibration woke lance up. He jumped up and caught Keith as he stumbled out of the pod. "Keith!? How do u feel!?" "L-lance?" Keith gained consciousness. "Keith!" Lance hugged him tightly and started to sob. Keith was stunned and confused, but he hugged back. The others heard lance's sobs and ran out to see what was the matter. When they saw Keith and lance hugging they decided to wait till they were done to greet them. "Lance-" Keith was interrupted by Lance's ramblings "I'm so sorry! I shouldn't have said those things! I didn't mean any of it-i was angry! I'm so glad you're ok!" Lance hugged Keith tighter. "Lance-I'm ok! I'm here! I shouldn't have yelled at you either. I'm sorry for leaving." Lance pulled away from the hug and looked into Keith's deep, purple eyes. "K-Keith?" Lance asked "yes lance?" Keith said as he wiped a tear from the corner of Lance's eye. "I-I love you!" Lance wrapped his arms around Keith again. Keith smiled and let out a breath he didn't know he was holding. Keith hugged him back. "I love you too!" Slowly the hug turned into a kiss that was light and full of heart.
